Ah just having fun, East TN has some great players and great Fans. Love seeing people get supportive of there teams especially Girls Softball.... I think they beat Central, and had some really good games with others....I am sure VTEC knows better than Me. Do you know who the other pitcher is for Heritage? Good luck to you guys.

Yep seen it happen two different ways.....Ed the ump ruled that he would complete the inning....another time game was stopped with runners on base and the home team had no outs..... oh well jam---boree.....I guess that is what jam stands for to jam as many games as possible....

Why would you say any of them are not powerhouses? Also How many people realized that the pitching distance was off by 3 feet on the first two fields....Confirmed by the Umps it was at 37 feet....maybe a little less..... Boys and there pitching mounds.....why couldn't they move the portable mounds?

It was fun to see all of the posts.....I was betting on K. Blevins from Soddy....Saw two of her homers.....She definitely has a big stick but even quicker hands....Girls should take note on where and how she stands in the box....very smart hitter...pitchers especially......Keep the post going and updated if possible and congrats to all of those Homer Queens....Girls can do anything Boys can do and Better!

Okay, let me clear that up OVER THE FENCE...No matter if its 300 ft or 195....NCAA played on a short field and they counted that game so Over the Fence...not inside the park Homeruns.... sorry for the mislead but just think it would be neat...so OVER THE FENCE.......

Just thought it would be fun and interesting to see who is leading in Homeruns this Year Count Regular season and tournaments.....now don't count scrimmages..... Name,School,AgeClass(Senior,Junior,Soph,Fresh)Class(AAA,AA,A....) Specify Varsity or Junior Varsity....

Very true Jeffersonairplane.....We were there also and saw what she was throwing....around 66 I have seen a lot of girls gunned at tournaments and the 63 is a good top average of top pitchers in this region. If they are throwing consistently in the low 60's they will be doing good.....and on there way to college

Wins and Ks add up don't get me wrong...I will always take Ks but if they never reach the mental part of the game they will never make it....the best pitchers are the ones that believe in themselves and ususally that part started with a parent or a coach re-enforcing their natural abilities.... just my opinion....was a pitcher, still think I am and I am Older than dirt....Its all Mental.....Look at Greg Maddux.....Lisa Fernandez.....A coach told her she would never be a pitcher......but she and her family told her different....

Hooray for you Coach Hawk!!! So far you have showed nothing but class and true Coaching in a way that other Highschool coaches should recognize. Teams will always come out on top when there is more unity within......Doesn't matter whether its travel teams or highschool teams... by the way I am by not related and our team will play them this season.. good luck :justwrestle:

So let me get this straight if a person moves to another part of the district even though you have played 2 yrs at the same school then you can transfer public to public....and not miss your junior year.......Is that right?
