Walker Valley is definently one of the best teams in the state and they probably just weren't ready to play, if they come to play, they have the potential to beat anyone. I hope somebody can take them out in the region

There is only one left handed hitter on the Hixson baseball team and it is not Josh Green, that would be Heath Shoemate. You're right, Heath was the leadoff batter at the beginning of the year and Josh was batting second. Josh is now the leadoff batter and he didn't get thrown out by Michael Kay (East Ridge's wannabe Tyler Thompson).

yea, the left fielder is Jake McClure and boy did he take a shot... thet really would have been something had he caught that one. I'm suprised he doesn't have a concussion!

I would have to go with Higdon of Ooltewah or Smalley from Hixson. Higdon has always been good and he throws pretty hard, but he tires after about five or six, unlike Smalley who has gone 8 innings and thrown 125+ pitches in several games that he has won. This kid pitches against quality teams week in and weekout.

Yea it was an all around good game for hixson, but not for Notre Dame. Don't get me wrong, they are a really good team; they just couldn't hit it solid where no one was...thanks to Smalley(5-1)

Yeah, #4 Josh Green was at second base and there was a shot in between first and him,(in the gap), he took about two or three steps and layed out...caught it...flipped over and gunned the guy out by half a step. About Smalley...awesome game even though there were a few earned runs, his curve and slider were breaking batters off all night...not to mention he doubled off thewall at engel stadium which is about 405 to center

Pete Gregory is 7-0 in singles and he could kill all of yall... i have seen him play and he is awesome... hixson will beat ccs next time...watch

Josh Green from Hixson is not that big and he already has four bombs... he can definently lace the ball, Haiwaiian punch is right, ryan hits the ball pretty hard . how many homers does he have?

i agree with juicyt... some teams have some really crappy teams scheduled at the beginning of the year so they can boost their record and their averages instead of being challenged by good pitchers on good teams
