I went throught the same things Melissa did. We were in it together. I love her like a sister and she did what she did cuz she felt she had to. I just look at it as coach says what he says to make u mad and that its supposed to make u play better. If u r mad at him then u cant be mad at each other and as of now that has worked. I am not mad at any of the girls for leaving. It hurt me because they r my friends but i love them as people! I wish that evrybody would just leave this topic alone and let it be. The MJ team has been through enough and it stinks that we still have to be talked about on here. Please have respect for us and just let it be. I love u melissa maegan and susan!!!

deadeye its opinions like that that make us get o here and defend ourselves. Anyway thanx to all the girls on the team who have shown true heart and guts. It is my pleasure to bring smiles and laughter to the team. i believe in all of you and i know that all of you are great people. well on the hitting subject-we all have been pretty consistent. karli rush has gotten some key hits for us in many games jennifer church is finding her rhythm and really helping her team out. Amy eden is getting some big hits when we need them. Fran Flatt has a very good consistent stick. We are all doing and awesome job Kim Kee i know its been rough for you but sweety u have been doing an outstanding job for us!!! Keep your head up and know that we all have your back!! i love u grl!! B Young-i think u made the comments-thank you very much!!! it means so much to me that u would say any of that about me. But i dont want recognition-i just want my team to be a team and to get along and love one another-if i can help any of that then i am doing my job!! i will miss all of the girls next year!! This is for all the people who say we should stop "bashing" our former teammates. We are in no way bashing our teammates. I love the girls as people and that will never change. I think that all these posts about us are ridiculous. Most of the time its people that dont even know the story puttin in their two cents and i think it is not there problem. We only put things on here because all we have heard since the players quit is how we wouldnt go anywhere w/o them and we r simply saying thats not true. there is no doubt that susan was an outstanding player and we miss her, but our team has other talent as well and we are just trying to pick ourselves up and thats what we have done and we are proud of that. We had 2 choices- either fold because we lost people-or we could band together and become stronger and we chose to become stronger. If u r gonna hate on us for that then i think u need to take a hard look at urself and try to figure out whats wrong with u instead of trying to tear us down again and again.

I believe that this district will come down to who wants it more. And yes it will come down to who takes an oppurtunity and runs with it. Beech should do well. It always expected. I think that even though we think they r gonna be on top we gotta watch out for surprises around every corner. this district is not wide open, but anybody could take it on any given day.

Well i think that hhs' win over beech was huge. In this district it can go either way as shown by white house in the start of the season. I think that every team should be ready to battle every team. Its not gonna b an easy district tournament-it will all come down to who wants it more.

well my thoughts on it all are still the same-cookeville will surprise people. Am i saying they will win their dictrict-no-but they will give the top teams a run for their money. It will all come down to, like in any game, who wants it more. I know the cookeville boys want it bad. NDAlcorn-i know u want to go to state just as much as anybody(and ur doin awesome this year-keep the good work!). All im sayin is always expect the unexpected.

well to all the people that doubted how this team would come together after the losses we had-we are doin awesome. we believe in each other more then ever and we are finally playing the way we should. i love being apart of this team. we had an amazing time in hoover-no we didnt come out on top but we played the best we have ever played and any game couldve gone either way. We are now a unit and i can see my senior year turning out better then i could have wanted it to. thank you to all the girls on the team-u guys make it fun and i am glad to be playing ball with you all!!! we play for each other and because we love it. its the best feeling in the world.

Like ive been saying from the beginning-cookeville will surprise people. These boys are making people think twice about who is going to be #1. All the guys have a lot of heart and they put everything on the line every game. I will be devastated if they do not stay in the top of the district. GO CAVS!!!!!!! ill c yall friday!!!

I believe that yes blackman and riverdale will be at the top of the poll however i really dont think that anybody should doubt cookeville this season! As i recall they beat Blackman twice - 2 days in a row. I truly believe that cookeville will be in the top 4 maybe even 3. This ball club has great potential. All the guys have play to win attitudes and when its on its on-they are very good this year and i think they deserve some recognition.

I think its great that some people thin MJ is overrated. It shows how much they really know. MJ has done an amazing job this season! Hardy has never had a better season and im glad he's showing everybody what he's got. The whole team is solid and when they come together and work together there is no stopping them. These boys are making a statement and pretty soon everybody will hear it! GO BEARS!!!!

I totally agree with disgustedfan. We are seeing more and more from this team then anyone ever expected. To beat a team such as blackman and their outstanding pitching says a lot about this team. We all know Price can throw the heat but as u can see he can also be beaten. My congrats to the whole Cavalier team! I am excited to see what u guys have in the coming weeks. GO CAVS!!!

I think cookeville will stay on top. These guys have worked too hard and put too much time and effort not to stay on top. Alcorn and Griggs are doing very well on the mound and the Cavs seem to be hitting the ball well. Their 3b Dyer- well you should all expect big things from him-he's got the talent and the heart-Also Coach Chaffin seems to be doing a fine job as head coach this year- i predict that you'll be seeing and hearing a lot more about these young men in the future.

I really hope that this tournament will be a good one. I hope that all the teams are challenging and full of heart. Its the middle of the season and its time to put up or shut up! I look forward to seeing the outcome.

Well i think that white house is an ok team i also think that they were overlooked in preseason and they capitilized on that. They are surprising people because everyone is expecting the same thing. Thank you to white house for mixing it up around here~!

Cookeville is a very good baseball team. They are very in tune with each other and very sound defensively and offensively. All the games i have seen have been played very well. All the players show good sportsmanship and they have a lot of heart and a lot of guts. They never give up. At the blackman game their lead off batter in the top of the 7th inning, down by one run, started the inning off with a triple down the left field side. The next batter jacked one over to give cookeville the edge over blackman 2-3. I would watch out for cookeville. This could be their year and they deserve it.
