  1. By God I'll be here...I live here, too.
  2. You're right, once again their defense will have to keep their offense (which is stuck in 1987) on their backs. If not for John Chavis and the defensive players, Tennessee wouldn't have a hint of a winning season for the last couple of years. Vandy always plays people tough, especially Alabama and sometimes Tennessee.
  3. Don't forget that as of last year, Vanderbilt had more linebackers in the NFL than any other school. Manning and Munoz started as Freshmen by default. I think we all know why Rick Clausen is being given a shot at starting...CJ Leak is clearly the better quarterback, and may have even been better than Casey Clausen. Vanderbilt is an up and coming program, and will beat UT this year. Why? Because UT's players are beginning to think like the fans in this thread think...
  4. I really worry about some of you and your pragmatic ethics. Atheists would not want anyone to pray for their child, for they believe that there isn't a diety to pray to. And your argument that if I do not like to hear prayer at ballgames, then simply "don't go", is just plain wrong. It is a public venue, being hosted by a public school, which is held accountable by the federal and state government, which clearly say that there should/and will be a separation of religion and state/federal funded activities. If you guys want a country where you have your own national religion, then take the next flight to London. Until then, I'm not responding until some of you take out your little hippified U.S. History textbooks and actually read them. And for GreenMan, let's see you quote ELA and talk to him like that.
  5. I don't think they want him lookin' at the dad gum offensive line.
  6. Are you kidding me? First...there will be no federal law (not in our lifetime) that allows gays the chance to marry. Second, a Representative or Senator is supposed to be a speaker of his/her constituents. If something becomes a state law, then some lawmaker proposed it and it was voted on, then signed by our Governor. If the people of the state do not like it, they should vote them out, plain and simple. I'm interested to see your opinion on alcohol. Please reply.
  7. Alright people, I'm going to say this one more time, and that's it. Everything I say is a LAW. If you do not like the laws of this land, then vote (or better yet, run) for a Representative or Senator that shares your viewpoints. If you want to band together, then get together and begin lobbying or petition for a Constitutional Amendment supporting your idea. This isn't such a stretch, these things have happened before. I apologize if I come off a little strong, I'm just trying to report the facts of our federal/state/local laws. I'm just asking you folks to be a little more open-minded and logical and less critical of others. I don't see you guys talking to those moderators like you do me...
  8. Look folks, as I've said time and time again, I'm just reporting the facts here. If you do not like our laws, then use the democratic process to your advantage and vote for a Representative or Senator who shares your views/thoughts. Otherwise, go live in China, where they make sure you follow the rules.
  9. I would guess that you didn't see the humor in that...maybe you should find a composition book, as well.
  10. Well, there was a reason it was in between quotation marks, because I had been called "crazed"...but now I can add "crazy", as well. Spanks. ...By the way...see if you can go and find a little English book somewhere...
  11. That has got to be the dumbest thing I've ever read (no offense to you). I hope, for all of our childrens' sake that you do not teach any sort of History, especially United States History/Government (no offense to you). Now for your theological lesson: Just because someone is not a Christian (which I happen to be), does not mean that they aren't thinking of the "kids safety". You should really get out more, including to church, which I would bet my bottom dollar that you do not regularly attend.
  12. You guys are giving me a little too much credit here...I'm not trying to pull a wooly on anyone. I reckon if I wanted to meet Coach Rankin, I could drive the 5 or so miles to the school and visit him. I just figure that football coaches have more to do than meet "crazed" fans.
  13. Hey, I give credit where credit is due...everyone's allowed to be correct once in his or her life.
  14. I thought I was fanatical about my boy Rankin? You guys are going to have to get your story straight. I just think Meadows is a great football coach. He showed those 'necks up in Dandridge how to play ball again. I wouldn't say that I necessarily 'despise' them...I'm just tired of hearing them whine.
  15. You're exactly right, it's where our federal government is hypocritical. Also, every morning before Congress begins, there is a prayer held. I, for one, appreciate consistency. Either declare a national religion or don't, one or the other.
  16. You guys have a player named "Kat"?
  17. You guys mustn't be able to read very well. You just told me to go to "Capitol (sic) Hill" and "do something about it". IT'S IN OUR UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION. It's not just a collection of old state laws, it's a HUGE part of our culture, the separation of religion and federally/state funded programs (SCHOOLS/SCHOOL FUNCTIONS). All you say is "Free Country, Free Country, Free Country", this free country promises freedom of religion. "Free Country" doesn't associate itself with "everybody's a Christian". These things I tell you AREN'T MY OPINION, THEY'RE FACTS AND LAWS. See if you can see it a little better in bold...
  18. Oh my... Dude, I don't even LIKE Jefferson County. That guy LOVES Jefferson County. That was almost scary...
  19. Is that like a line that I missed from "Chappelle's Show" or something? I seriously do not understand. Anyhow, when GC gets that 15th game under his belt...tell him to bring a camera to chronicle the event.
  20. WacoTexasJacobsLadder, I'm still waiting for someone to fill me in on this little JPatts situation. However, here is what I DO know about Dobyns-Bennett foosball: They've never played a 15th game. <---period
  21. I did put Coach Householder in my Top Five. I've seen what he can do with minimal talent in a fairly tough area for 3A ball (Fulton, A-E, Kingston...). As for Jefferson County, you people are just a bit backwards anyway, the two times I stepped foot in that county it felt like I stumbled into a time warp to the 1930s...if you catch my drift. I did see Jefferson County play once last year (at Oak Ridge) and the seniors acted like great sportsmen, especially Houston and Jennings. The only trouble I could find was sitting within earshot of the Jefferson County fans, which were terribly inconsiderate and ...well...in your words, undisciplined. But look who I'm talking to...you're likely one of them!
  22. You all have been brainwashed...or blinded by love, rather. What's with all of this Meadows stuff? I think he's a great ball coach, and he only faced D-B two or three times. D-B had better players, undoubtedly (as I've been told), and I don't think Meadows had any problem putting points on the board, if I remember correctly (I didn't attend any of the games). Look, all I'm saying is that Graham Clark is severely overrated. You wouldn't be so mad if you didn't think it was true...
  23. However, I keep asking this simple question without an answer... "If Graham Clark and the cavalry are doing such a good job turning these kids into upper-level collegiate players, and some NFLers, then how come there is no Gold Ball?" And by the way, everyone who knows anything knows that Graham Clark always gets what he wants because people feel sorry for him, year in and year out (See also: 1992-2003 All Big East Team).
  24. You people just don't get it... There are religions other than yours in this country. The only way to satisfy everyone is to have a moment of silence which gives respect to all religions, something that this country's constitution promises.
