  1. You my friend are no Einstein /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  2. I agree. How can they have 2 players from a team that did not win more than 3 games on the first team? There are many players that deserve the recognition, but in an attempt to have equal representation from all county schools this thing is a freakin joke. They have players on this list that are good kids, but do not deserve this type of recognition. Hendersonville/JP2 were the only teams that won the right to go to the state tourney, but GHS has 11 players on the list, they did not get out of their district. TJ/Jimmy deserve their accolades, goalie was probably the right selection. Offensive MVP is a stretch and defensive mvp is not the best defender, TJ was the best, or second best defender in the county.

  4. congrats to HF..take it easy call me at home# cell is dead
  5. What an analysis... the world has stopped spinning on the above "pearls of wisdom"
  6. I was dead wrong on this one. Congrats to Blackman...keep it going
  7. I will lay it out. Webb was the victor and deserves the spoils. Very close game, ask the Webb crowd if they think they dominated. CBHS is 3 goals better than Webb. Speedy...frhs has not beaten jp2 in the last two years. It is like basketball, all about the match-ups. MBA is a very good team, my opinion is that they had to play the best team in the first round. Goal differential will tell you that all these teams are closer than you think. Another subject. Fields were only a C+. I am sure the stadium is Great, but #6 was only average. I would like to hear some thoughts on the turf...at least the dimesions were correct.
  8. I think that all D2 games results were by 1 goal. Webb 1 jp2 0 FHRS 1 BC 0 CBHS 1 MBA 0 BAYLOR 2 MUS 1 if any of these are wrong, please correct the info on the later games was word of mouth
  9. Plummer has them clicking. 30 goals for and 1 against since district playoff. Like him or not...Good job HHS.
  10. Houston is good, so are the boy's from Blackman. Houston 3, Blackman 1...The defenders from Houston need to speak with the defenders from FRHS because...it was a CLOCK cleaning..Long live R.O.B
  11. He is fine and will play. I think that CBHS and MBA is a closer game than most might think. 0-0 in regulation...best of luck in the pk's. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

    ...?

What happened to the Courtney Coffee thread?
  13. Totaltruth.....Who are You?
  14. Sorry to tell you, but 89 Select is not going to win U16 state.
  15. Baylor was winning 1-0 when they pulled their seniors. Sometime during the second half JPII scored against Baylor's second team? and tied the score at 1-1. JPII then pulled 9 of their 10 starting field players and put freshman in during the last 20 minutes--Baylor then scored 3 goals. To say the score was 4-1 is very deceiving...
  16. I will make this statement with the upmost of confidence, and it is not a homer comment... Hendersonville has the best Sophmore class in the state... Hendersonville has the best two individual Sophmores in the State in Daniel Kelly and TJ Brown... Sutton Cash is somewhere in the top players as well. Daniel just returned from Argentina where he played with the Region III team. TJ and Sutton are both outstanding players on the TNFC 89 team, along with Daniel, that just won Region III Premiere league North and qualified for the region in Dallas regardless of Club State after High School. After those three Hendersonville has some strong support players that are Sophmores such as Patrick Basile and Phillip Marx along with Grant Woods... I am a JPII supporter and believe we have a strong Sophmore class but no one can touch H'ville. JPII a distant second in the county... No one else is even close to JPII in Sumner county at this age group. JP II has four TNFC 89 players, all strong role players on this dynamic club team. There are three TUSC players that are strong for JPII.
  17. nickforte4261, The JPII vs. USN game is at 5:00 at USN. Should be a good game. JPII has already tied and beat USN this season.
  18. Pope John Paul II beat MBA 2-1 today. JPII looked very impressive and have gained much needed momentum heading into Region play. Any thoughts on the game and how the Middle Region Tourney is going to look?
  19. Hey Nick 27 -- do not talk in code--Who or what are you exactly talking about. I see that 60 people have read your post and no one has responded because you have been too vague.. Spill your guts.. I suspect I know what you are talking about and will respond if your explanation is in line with my suspicions. By the way... He is a great coach that keeps his shape--throws it in the mixer.. is unlucky at times.. and will take his club team all the way to regional success this spring.. You could have been part of it if you weren't to stubborn and proud.

    JP2

Hey captain-- the JPII boys would like to say thanks for driving from Tullahoma to play and for being great sports...It appeared that there was no trash talking going on. It is hard to get on that big yellow bus, stink fumes for an hour or an hour and one half.. jump off the bus and play at your level best. Could you give us an honest evaluation of how we stack up against other teams you have played. This is our first varsity season and are still trying to see how we stack up. We are so inconsistent--one day we are competative and then the next we are not. Tell us what you think.. Be honest--we are big boys and can take it.
  21. I have not seen Christian Brothers... but out of McCaully, Notre Dame, BGA, and MUS....All very good and all possibles given the right scenario... I have to go with BGA. A very impressive team... They are extremely good sports as well... My son plays for a school that they (BGA) recently defeated 5-1... it actually was a little more competative than the score...Any way... after the game, my son went on and on about their sportsmanship, especially number 13. My son stated that when he made a play, BGA was quick to compliment them... Good luck to all in the upcoming tournament
