Are you asking if a girl could be a high school all american with out playing high school soccer that season? The answer would be no. There are nscaa awards for college players, all region and all america, as well.

I was just trying to help, but just because this is her first year doesn't mean she isn't a member. It is not a high school coaching organization but a soccer coaches organization. All levels are included in its publications, conventions, and education courses from youth level to professional.

Only 6 on the All South Team, but only one as an All-American. It is due to the few number of coaches from TN who are registered as a member of the NSCAA. The more coaches in a state that are members equals a greater number of kids on the team. Please encourage your coaches to join. Its not a perfect system, but it is all that we have. If your coach is not a member of NSCAA, they have no chance of making the team. Only the coaches who are members get players on the team.

What was the name of the girl at Beech High School about 6 years ago. She was very athletic, not as technical as some, but more athletic than at least 99%. She played for Beech and Nic Konidis (sp?), but regrettably, I have forgotten her name.

It would probably Italy and CR due to the goal differential. A 3-0 loss kills the US who were almost as bad as they were in nashville a couple of weeks ago. There is no urgency in their attack. Remember that those all-area teams are picked by the press, not the coaches. Most of the press don't see many of the games and take recommendations from anyone on who should make it. All-county, All-midstate, and all-state picks are a very in-exact science, but congratulations to all who make them.

If you read my post more carefully, I think you will realize that is exactly what I just said in a more simple form, but congratulations to you and your defense for the number of shut outs for the season and the tournaments and more importantly the title.

BGA did what they needed to do to win. Possession percentage was won by brothers but the scoreboard is what counts in the end, and nobody can say that BGA sat back and defended the whole game. BGA had been criticized this year and last for not being a "team", but they proved that they were the best team on Saturday. Congratulation to the the team and the coaches for their state championship

Explain to me why they wouldn't get anything out of it. Inter-county rival are always fun and the competition would be good for both teams to prepare for the post season. Are you saying that it might hurt their record to lose to an inferior team? Surely not.

I don't agree with a great deal of what you say, but you nailed it. Looking at their schedule, they don't even play bga who is right down the road.

The US struggled in the attack and were not taking shots when they were getting opportunities. The us needs Donovan up top to take other players on or do a better job getting him more involved in play. I know that it was only a friendly but if we don't improve greatly we are going to struggle to getting into the 2nd round. John O'Brien struggled from not playing in Europe and Reyna's leadership was missing most of the match.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how MBA is not ranked in Division II. I would argue that they are one of the best teams in the state, not just Division II. They slipped against Ryan, but they have proven they are a force to reckon with in the state.

I didn't see the game, but the paper read the goalkeeper got hot and gave the rest of the team some confidence.

No matter how the goals happened, it seems that JP2 has maybe gotten over their finishing wowes. Good for them...maybe bad for the next team to have to play them.
