Bucs will pull out a win, but this stuff's gotta be resolved in the locker room. It'll be a "Titan" season if that problem's not fixed and soon. Put egos aside and play as a unit and the Bucs will be playing post-season again.

Grizz and Stil took a beating, but thought that Beech held up well against the Wave. The Wave has taken a beating the past few years with violations and all, and I think this could be the year for the Wave of Redemption - looks like a big giantic wave on the other side of the field with so many players standing over there! Good luck Wave!

When you're playing football in Sumner County, anything goes. That's what makes this one of the best counties in Tennessee.

I was very proud to see the conduct of both teams Friday night. And it made it just that much better of a game to watch. What grade is Martin in?

I'll admit I was a "Doubting Thomas" here - heck of a game. Way to prove me wrong, Bucs. Could it have been any more crowded at that game??? Who was the kid who took Nathan Johnson's place kicking? He did a great job, even with such big shoes to fill. Always a great game to watch!

I kinda wish this game was at the end of the season instead of the beginning. Bucs had a bunch of players sidelined at the jamboree and don't know whether they've got it all together yet or not at this early point and HHS looks like they might. I gotta lean towards Commandos for this one - Bucs, prove me wrong.

White House did look good. Looks like the twins are a couple of Ricky Ladds times 2. Beech looked like they had several on the sidelines not dressed out. What was with that?

I think Beech has a great program and will continue to stay strong. Excellent to hear another Chamberlain coming down the pike. Keep us posted.

Nathan Johnson of Beech would've been in the running for it. A tremendous athlete cut down too soon.

Nathan Johnson, a junior football player for Beech was killed in a car accident this morning on his way to football workouts. Please keep him and his family in your prayers, as our hearts break for this family in Sumner County.

Many a moons ago when there was still Shoney's in Hendersonville and the Shoney's Big Boy statute was still standing proud at the front door, someone hauled that big statute and put it on top of the press box at Hendersonville High School.

Wishing him a speedy recovery - sure would hate to see this kid have to sit out this year.

Haven't seen one yet, but I think they open with Brentwood (not counting the tournaments).
