Are you sure those guys are freshman? I heard they didn't have enough and are playing sophmores. Is there any truth to this?

I don't think that's entirely true. If you are not prepared then you have to blame the coaches. That is their responsibility to get the players in the right situations. A great coach is only as good as his players. Point blank. Lets go Pioneers. I still believe in you guys.

Yeah i guess is was the coach's fault they fumbled 2 or 3 times and had 5 dropped passes. Coaches fault.

Great athlete- or athletic ability. Adam Wood can run fast & jump out of the gym. Josh Paz- runs fast &strong- Jevon Ramsey fast, quick &strong. Those are good athletes just to name a few off last years team. Great athletes don't make great players. You had a few on last year's football team and baseball team that didn't pan out in high school. Not going to name names but look at some of those players that didn't play a lot. Colby just throws gas. I loved watching him pitch. What was the difference between Bryan Morris(1st Rd) and Colby(24?rd)the answer Athletic ability.Greg Maddux, Randy Johnson aren't great athletes but they are great pitchers. That's not disrespecting Colby. In my opinion he is not a great athlete. Sorry if I offended you.

You are absolutely correct. The good athletes are there in the schools. Coaches cant make the players play. I'm speaking only about football. When you have over 1000 students and 50- 65 play 9-12 grade, is that the coaches fault. So its the coaches fault because a kid wants to sit at home and play playstation. I am sure coaches walk down the hall and say wow what a offenesive tackle he would be. But he cant make the guy dress out and play if he doesnt want. Say whatever you want its not the coaches fault. The athletes aren't coming out for the team and then quitting. They arent coming out period.

That's not true. Killian was the best player to play baseball in the last 10 years at WC. He couldnt play football. He isnt a great athlete. If you really believe that coaches are keeping players from playing more than one sport I truly disagree. Name me the best athlete to come out of Warren Co. in the last 10 years. There aren't any. The great athletes don't play anything anymore. Much credit to the guys that play NAIA, DII, and DIII and Junior College. But we havent had the great athletes participating for the entire 4 yrs. Who was the last WC player go D1 and play. Barry Dillard-1991. 15 years ago. You telling me that the great next football player was playing baseball(Joey Haston) or basketball. I dont think so. All good pitchers don't make great football players. If they did with all the pitchers WC has had drafted we would be great like Riverdale.

Pioneer43, How did the scrimmage go Thursday @Siegel? You need to keep us posted. I didn't see anything in the paper today.

Pioneer 43, tell us some of the new people that will fill in for the spots of Bratcher (defense and special teams),Ramsey, Nick Cantrell, B. Dunn, Creek,Spivey, Rojas and the many more good players we lost last year. I am thinking are secondary, receivers, and tail back will be are area of need concern. Where can we get a schedule at for this season.

Wow that's tough. If they win those games against those 2 pitchers they deserve to go on. Should be an interesting tournament.

Uncle Argile get real. Killian dominated tonight. 6 hits more like 4. And one of those in the 7th when the ball went between the SS legs. Give Killian his due. Tonight he was a dominant pitcher. You guys make no sense. Siegel is a good team but they arent the Yankees. What if he was on 5 or 6 days rest? You guys would have have had a chance tonight.

Blackman and Oakland have to be the front runner for 2nd place now. If Blackman beats Cookeville, sweep White and get swept by Riverdale they will finish 8-6. I think an 8-6 record will get you 2nd place. Oakland will have to go 2-2. Siegel and Lebanon will come ready to play against Oakland. Warren Co. will have to win out. Tough task with Lebanon and Siegel.

Mr. Limbaugh, what is the tie breaker after head to head in the district regular season? What if the teams split with each other? Some info please.

How do you think Oakland will do against Siegel this week? Siegel is not a bad team right?

I still think it is too early to pick a #2 seed. You have 6 teams with 4-6 losses. A lot of those teams play head to head in the next 2 series.

What about Cookeville or Blackman? What if one of those teams win out?

Warren Co. beats Blackman tonight 3-0. Killian complete game 3 hits and 13k's. stats from the radio.

Rogers pitched good enough to win at Cookeville. 7 2/3 innings 3 runs. 2 were earned. Blackman hit him hard last night. He did not make it out of the 3rd inning.

I need help guys. Warren Co. makes a lot of errors. Why? Is it lack of preparation? Lack of talent? or coaching(I know the coaches can't play the game for the players). I have been to several home games and listen to the road games on the radio. It's just hard to understand. Comments would be greatly appreciated.
