Webb will not beat Catholic simply because Catholic is much stronger adn faster. I have played against both teams...a throw-up game against Catholic which we narrowly lost, and a complete domination of Webb in which we gave Webb many chances to take the game but still came away victorious. Irish wins big in this one. I have played both of these teams and Notre Dame is, without a doubt better. They have got some guys on ofeense who will run, throw, and catch against this years BGA team. Notre Dame's Q.B. and should have a big game, and the Irish defense should have a good game against this horrible BGA offense. You asked how and why and I have played both teams so I know first hand how both teams play...do not be mad at what I am telling you.

It was a great game...one of the most exciting I've ever played in, and hopefully we wil not have that problem again.

Unless the defense improves greatly for Webb, it won't be different! Catholic is the REAL rematch. First one was in hurricane!

g2ghiking...they had no punts because they went for it everytime on fourth down. They would get down to like the 35 and think they could just punch it in but they were stopped almost everytime.The Knights also had an incredable goal-line stand on fourth and 1 from the 1 when Webb returned a punt to about the 7 yard line. Also, Ryan Walker is a very good player but what were yall sayin? He would get like what...250+? Yea...right, it was a little more like 21 for 94 so nice try guys. I jsut gotta say #51 on Webb was also a great player and I'll be looin forward to facin him again in three weeks.

Yea...the game was controlled by Pope John Paul. Knox Webb scored of of a turnover inside the five and and recovered a kickoff at the five yard line! Ryan walker was prety good but didnt really live up to the expectations...everyone said he was unstopable and i ithnk he would say he was contained quite well. JPII's offense played one of their best games of the year, gaining alot of yards on the ground.

I'm sorry in saying this because i know im bias, but the JPII defense isnt really a pushover. Also, with the atheletes we have, our offense production should be doin good through the air...like winslow said. Also, Mcfadden is a great running back...we held him under his average for the season, and the only big run given up in that game was from one of the other runningbacks. I know today we are ready as we have ever been for a game and everyone around here is ready as there ever be to see this game...so lets get the lights on and play the game!

How did JPII not match up with Catholic? The score was 14-13 until late in the fourth quarter with Catholic scoring off JPII turnovers. JPII did have 8 turnover to Catholics 3 and it was an extemly close game. JPII also gets most of their points though the air...which they weren't able to do due to the HURRICANE. So im not really understanding that. Also how do you think JPII will match up better to Webb than Catholic?

Since the #2 & #3 teams in the East/Middle division play each other in the first round of the playoffs, this game is huge for home field advantage...that is if Catholic ends up beating Webb in the final game of the season. If Catholic beats Webb, the winner of the Webb JPII game will play at home against the loser of the game. I know both teams will be playing hard because of this reason, and it should be a great game. With JPII coming off a bye week and having the home field advantage...I tihnk JPII will pull it off. It should be a great game decided by a few points. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Well, this is our second year in existance, and we have our first senior class this year. Noone knew how good we would be so we scheduled this game. Sorry, and we weont be playing them anymore.

Jp2 is in Sumner County, near Rivergate Mall.

DCA and CPA are both 1-A. They are the two best teams, and DCA CPA and Boyd are the only respectable teams in 1-A.

Alright...this whole thread is a joke. FCHS being "stacked" is hillarious. I play for pope and i know from experience from the past two seasons that is a joke. We've beat them 42-28 and 33-7 the past two seasons, and we arent necessarily "stacked." We went 3-8 last year and we're 4-3 so far this year. Its just that 1-A teams stink, and Monterey is terrible. I'd like too see FCHS play CPA or DCA and see what happens.
