Well, back to the rankings..... I believe those are good rankings but it is hard to pick the 10 best of like 300 schools. And I see part of the logic in putting ccs in and cak out but I think CAK is the better team just not on that day. Just my personal opinion.

You've got to give props when and where props are due. And BA gets the props for beating an excellent FRA team. Now FRA needs to admit they got beat and if they didn't play there best then it is their fault and they deserved to lose. Im sure they've heard the speech any team can beat anybody on any given day. They just need to quietly take their medicine when its given to them and prepare for the playoffs.

I agree with you playoff I think the only team capable of pulling off an upset of the big four at state is CA.

I believe that CCS CAK and FRA will be the number one teams from their regions and LC will be number 2 from knoxville. Everyone else except for I think CA doesn't really matter because i dont believe they will make much of a splash. CCS will get revenge on FRA and then in the finals CAK will get revenge on CCS and win again. Thats just the way i see it. I might be wrong but I call'em like i see 'em.

I do not know why this is such a big deal to people. Rankings do not name the champion the championship game does. So Brentwood should be proud of their number one ranking but not gloat over it, they still have to prove themselves at state and Farragut should now come out with more motivation to regain it back but neither team should resort to badgering eachother on some stupid web site forum.

Good point CAKsoccer. LC, CCS, FRA, and CAK are not garunteed a straight pass to the state tournament. They will all have to play some tough games to get there with LC probably having the hardest road. Having Oneida and Kingston in their district and CAK in their region they can't lose their focus at all.

Farragut must be favored in this game as well they should. They have the better atheletes. But CAK is still a good team and has alot of pride which might be injured in playing Farragut on their senior night. CAK has played Farragut on their Senior night twice before and both resulting in ties (1-1 and 0-0) so they might be due for an upset this time around. Any way it should be a very good game to watch and I am looking forward to this one.

FRA should be #1, CCS or CAK #2 or #3 it doesn't really matter its only a ranking, and CPA probably #4 and I think LC SHOULD only drop to #5.

Drew Courtney did handball ball it on his goal and it is the side linesman's duty to make that call. CCS should not feel cheated out of a 1-0 victory because they were lucky to come away with a 0-0 tie. Lenior City totally outplayed them. CCS did the same thing to LC that they did to CAK and that is they dropped 8 players to play defense and cleared the ball out everytime hoping their two forwards were faster than the LC defense.

There are most definitely should haves in soccer. Last year CAK lost to Gibbs 2-0 and had 2 goals called back. One was called offsides when the player dribbled past all of their defenders, even the Gibbs players couldn't believe it and the other CAK goal was called back for pushing when two players went for the ball in the box. The total shot count was CAK 28 Gibbs 4. Thats some bad finishing but Gibbs keeper is superb. I don't believe you can't say that CAK should have won that game though.

I saw CCS play Sweetwater and I must say I was not particularly impressed. They were a good team but I did not see much possesion from them. BUT they were playing Sweetwater and it is hard to play your best against weak opponents so I think they will play differently against CAK and LC. CCS's defense also looked slow when compared to the attack of CAK and LC. I say CAK takes this one 3-1.

An excellent game, very fast paced and entertaining. The only complaint I have is the refing. For some reason CAK V LC just has poor refing but hey, its bad for both teams. LC played with alot of heart and to me they were classy. I can't say anything from all their players but I never heard anyone bad mouth a CAK player. As for the fans being unclassy its hard to keep cool on some of those calls. Hopefully we'll see eachother in the Region and state finals.

I agree. If you stop Mitch Thomas LC's offense goes out the window. They don't have anyone else who can pick their offense up but him.

They have som quality players but no heart. Like GKBD15 said get on top of them early and they fold. They are not prepared mentally and they fight with themselves. Should still be a pretty good match between the two teams though. Good Luck.

I say LC 3-1 if Oneida's "Gift is there" LC 3-2.

Mandy Brockman of CAK is simply amazing and she's only a Freshman.

I would ofcourse expect CAK to win but you dont play the game on paper, CAK will still have to bring a good game to the table to win and they might be overlooking this game toward the LC tourney which could prove to be a mistake. Still I say CAK 4-0.

CAK schedule looks like this: 8:00 Thursday- LC 12:00 Saturday-CCS 6:00 Saturday- Sweetwater

This is going to be a great matchup between two great teams. They will also bring in alot of intensity to this game so it should be very exciting. I think that CAK is a better and more complete team but LC has homefield and a revenge factor. Good Luck to both teams.

Mitchell Thomas of LC is definitely not the best player in the state. He is very good though but definitely not the best.

CAK's team is simply amazing. They have awesome talent everywhere. They have an amazing third baseman in Lauren Jones, an incredible pitcher in mandy Brockman, and an great catcher in Karla Barker. They should go far this year so watch out, and to top it all off, their great to look at too!

To seymour, you guys did play a great physical game and showed alot of heart and class. The guy who marked bowman did a great job at following him and keeping up with his speed and bowman's only goal came when he slipped. It was a great game all around. Hope to see you in the district finals!

I agree LC, Webb does have one of the best fields in Tennessee. Full size, good grass, and soft dirt.

I think that CAK's coach is top notch. He won state in his first year with a record of 17-2-3, the best in the school's history and they are starting off this year on a good note at 6-1-1. He inherited an already strong program but the results are good at any program.
