  1. All I am saying is that it is rediculous to blame someone like a trainer for a loss. Whether mean was blaming the trainer for the loss or not, he brought it up in his post. I feel like if C-wood would have won this game, this topic would be 10 pages long with them talking trash. it sounded like #84 did a pretty good job on D but it also sounded like Ingram could not be stopped. Is Ingram the real deal or what? It is going to be another good game this week. Hopefully we can stay focused and take care of business. Tigers #1.
  2. Mean, that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard to blame your loss on the TRAINER of CA. Why do you think they wanted him to check teh injured player. Becasue He is certified to. He was just giving his professional advise. It may have ended up that the guy did not have a concussion but that is what the trainers are out there for to protect the players not to help decide the outcome. It sounded like it was a good game so why do you have to go and find excuses why you lost. You got beat that is it. Good luck to all the teams in region 6A. We are going to represent in the playoffs. 3. I was wondering who is leading the state in categories such as HR's, RBI's, Batting Average, and for pitchers- wins and strike outs.
  4. i don't really know any of the players that played in the CMA days but if you know some that are noteworthy then lets hear them. i was trying to think of the leaders of the teams that went to state in 1992 and in 2002? (maybe-the year they got runner-up) i know that the year they got runner-up they did not have many seniors. How many players are playing or could have played at the next level for CA in the past five years? i know there were a few last year.
  5. i would have to agree that coach kodatt is one of the top coaches in the district. when it seems like he may a down year, he somehow finds a way to motivate his players to win. CA, for a very long time, has been at the top of district 12, which is a very difficult district. hope i dont start anything with that last comment. For example a few years ago when they went to state and got runner-up, no one thought they would go that far. Many people were thinking that the next year would be the year that they have a shot at state. i don't know if it was the leadership of some of the players that year or what, but that team seemed to believe that they could make it to state. this year also, many people thought it would be a down year for CA but look where they are now. So without a doubt, my vote goes to coach kodatt at CA for coach of the year in district 12
  6. Who would be your starters in a big-time game? Don't forget about all the good players back in the day also.
  7. any info would be helpful. looks like mp might be surprising some people. i know some people will get on here and talk trash about them and how they are in the "easy" bracket but this is the state tournament. dont forget that. they are a really good team adn tehy deserve to be in the state tournament. at the beginning ofo the season i had some doubts about them because i thought they would have such a big head and let their attitudes beat them. i have been very impressed with this mt. pleasant team. good luck in teh rest of the tournament. and win it for Maury County.
  8. im pretty sure that tyler fractured his cheekbone and hurt his shoulder. and drew earl broke his jaw. that is all i know right now. if i find out more i will post it.
  9. this is terrible news. boshers and earl are my boy's and i hope that they can quickly recover. earl may be one of the best underclassmen there is in the state and boshers...there is nothing that needs to be said for him. anyone who has watched either one of these guys play know that they are the real deal. hopefully they can both get back on their feet quickly and help the dawgs. my prayers are with both of them. good luck and may everything come out alright.
  10. i agree that mp is a very good baseball team and they could go pretty far this year if they keep their heads on straight (which has been a problem for them in the past). but you heard it here first, ca is far from out of the picture. they will turn it around before teh tournaments (when everything really matters). i just want to go ahead and say that i dont go to ca or mp, but i am and have been following this "rivalry" for a while. anderson was a good player but so is boshers. i dont think u can say that you should take the mvp away from boshers and should have given it to anderson. i think boshers is just as good all-around player as anderson was. what does anyone else think about this?
  11. what has happened to columbia academy? where is the comeback team from the last two years? who is leading their team in all the batting categories (batting ave., hr's, rbi's ets...) who did they lose last year to make such a big difference in one year? or is the competition just better this year.
