  2. Stone will not score best guess 42-0 KC.
  3. It will depend upon how much spelling is worth. Embarrass. Trojanes will fall w/ the pressure of the playing the Rebs.
  4. EASY ANSWER TEXAS. RATIO TO POPULATION IS MISSISSIPPI for colleges.
  5. HEY Dante, I don't whine just state facts on the LACK of common courtsey in a so-called professional job. Most no wonder the education in the US is falling short. My guess You probably get to use those words one day as a fall back job.
  6. The teaching & coaching profession sorely needs upgrading across most of the the nation. I just finished with a couple of face to face interviews with programs seeking a HC football coach. The interviews were run very effectively. JUST ONE MAJOR GRIPE. I drove over 4 hours to each interview taking time out of my busy routine in education. The two places DIDN"T have the PROFESSIONAL courtsey to contact me with their decision to go in a different. No problem a PLAGUE on both of their houses. The business profession will at least send a form letter & some even call to notify those who have had a FACE TO FACE interview. I have been apart of numerous interviews for HC positions, DC & OC slots in TN. The only true professional I have had the opportunity to deal with in TN was John Hill the Principal at NEHS Clarksville after an interview for a job there he called within 48 hours to notify me the school was selecting another candidate. BIG KUDOES for this honorable man. Don't get me wrong TN isn't the only state with this lack of courtsey & professionalism. GA, FL, & SC have exhibited also. Only a one School system in South GA to notify me of their decision. My greatest hope will be others take a moment to do the RIGHT thing in the interview process. Thanks for the forum.
  7. If you are making a reference to my post on pay. I'm not Crazy. I have a Master's degree w/ 16 yrs of exp. Go to the salary schedule for all the state systems at teateachers.org. before you chime in please.
  8. If a person is attempting to get rich in the teaching/coaching field their plain looney. You got into to this business to give back to the children & community. I teach & coach and can make a comfortable living. So if your here trying to make big bucks in HS coaching you better rethink your priorities. Those coaches need to take their talents to the next level College if they plan on making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I checked the pay scales for your area with my exp. for the folks you generally compete against. Cocke Co[40,060] jefferson Co [39,760] hawkins Co [40,005] hamblen co[41,600] washington [42,500] greeneville [44,660] sevier [42,600]. Do know that Cocke pays on a % of base salary and some of these just pay a flat scale like 4,000 or higher some lower i guess. So pay shouldn't be a big issue unless a new coach wants to shake down a booster club or county. If he's that GOOD give him directions to GA. or TX. they'll pay but U better produce ASAP.
  9. Bradley County had the Bear Bowl in 1975. won the game over Morristown West 14-8. next year won the AAA championship game.

  12. NO DOUBT ON THIS ONE {1} Knox Catholic hands down this group has done a HECK of a JOB making this school a power to reckon with with less talent base from a community such as Maryville/ DB/ Alcoa.

  20. Loyalty is to student-athletes who join the program b/c your the man in charge. He can coach the whole team himself if that's necessary. Some great staffs that won games w/ only 3 total caoches in AA school in the 3 classificaton system. so get rid of desenters.
  21. If he's so firmly in place why did the man show interest in a GA job opening in North Ga. I guessing so he could make a sweeter deal for himself in Mo'town.if the pay isn't what he desires should have chosen a differnt profession.
  22. MY educated guess is Some people still believe in an OLD fashion idea regarding LOYALTY & COMMITMENT to a program not pick up stakes when talent might be on drop off.
  23. TOO SIMPLY Guys didn't read the other 10 pages some good fb teams mentioned for the 90's.
