I think Riverdale's pitching stable is ready. It goes a lot deeper than #1 and #2. These guys have been playing together for a long time and they know their jobs. Should be another good game, but I'm taking the odds on RHS. I hope the weather stays good and the boys play safe!

I just want to publically say that Riverdale and all the members of Coacht are fortunate to have someone as dedicated to the game of baseball as David Limbaugh. A lot of people depend on David to provide team standings and lots of positive comments for all high school teams and their members. Recently Riverdale High School acknolwedged their school senior class and David provided a personal note of encouragement and reward for their hard work. Thanks David!! Maybe next time left off Rinus, Ward, Underland, and others in the pitching stable. With him and the rest, they are deep in pitching throwing left handed, left handed submarine, left handed side arm,right handed, right handed submarine, right handed side arm and combine this with the chemistry they have as a team and the coaching staff, they'll go far.

Riverdale has a stable of pitchers. I think they will be a title contender.

This thread is going south. Just play ball. This was a good game between two good teams with a lot of emotion. Most of these young men on both teams have played on the same teams or against each other since tball. Why try and agitate something that is not there? See you tonight for another good game.

The team has chemistry. What's wrong with cheering on your teammates? They play and win with class.

Some very good comments, opinions, an suggestions on this topic. At the Warren County/Riverdale game last night, I counted 28 Warren County fans and about 100 Riverdale fans. Not too bad for a cold night. Plenty of hot chocolate and coffee was consumed. Small portable propane heaters are the latest "Gotta have" early in the season.

I've been to several pre-season and regular season games this year and the fans continue to be parents, grandparents, or girlfriends of the players with very few spectators not family. How do we get more support? Football and basketball are well supported by the schools but baseball seems to be pushed by the side relying on booster clubs for financial support. Baseball is the greatest sport played, but how do we let others in on our secret. Higher attendance at games will be a great boost to all schools baseball programs. Suggestions?
