i know this is late but goodness, I didn't mean to wake up the Wallie Culbreth Protection Crew (WCPC). i obviously didn't know what i was talkin about and want to formally aplogize to all offended. I was out of line. Congratulations for never letting my team beat yours Farragut... I stand corrected.

ya know, i've been around Wallie Culbreth a handful of times and i think he's been whining and moaning about something every time. Somebody needs to tell him to let his assistant have the reins because he doesn't know what he's talking about. And i know i'm gonna hear all this about "but Farragut won state the last two years..." okay, wonderful, but i don't accredit any of that to senor Culbreth. The bottom line is that the last two years they have far outclassed everybody talent wise. Cry on Wallie, cry on...

I played Blackman twice last year and personally marked Jordan both times. my boy Thug Nasty needs to learn his place. Nobody is scared. Nobody cares about his excuses. Nobody wants to hear his whining when he can't back it up. I wish i'd had the chance to push the little guy around some this year...because it aint that hard to do.

I agree about Lex Hultquist, but I don't really think he has "breakaway" speed. However, I do think he can run all day and is probably has the best endurance in the state (judging by his cross-country performances)

'twas a splendid match on both sides...1st half goal led to a defensive standoff by Oak Ridge for the duration. Not the most exciting game ever but a win for the 'cats nonetheless.

I love these threads that are like "who is the best marking back, in middle TN., under 5 foot 7 inches, with brown hair, and is left footed???" I'm really lost for why someone actually bothers to find these things out but whatever.... Id rather know how TEAMS are doing instead of the "best Junior stopper with an afro," for instance.

i think its a little early to be saying "State" for DB....still a long road ahead of them. And to say that that last night proved them the best team in east TN once and for all is ludicris. Might I remind you that the series is now tied and if both teams perform every friday night you'll be makin another trip to Blankenship. Both teams are behemoths and I hope DB keeps on thinking that they're in another league than OR because that may be their Achilles Heel next time around.

With Oak Ridge's strength up top I don't care who's in goal, they will get scored on. Oak Ridge has a very solid defense that can make Blackman's offense non-existent and I call another 4-0 game. What does everyone think about a possible Oak Ridge vs. Brentwood game on thursday?
