  1. Several Westview players will be there, so maybe some of ur old club teammates will join you on the streets.
  2. Yep, The Dyersburg-Westview game ended 2-1. It was a great game. Dyersburg led the first half 1-0 with a penalty from Zach Barry, but David Pifer and Josh baltz scored to give Wview the win. They'll face the winner of the Madison-USJ game on Monday at 5:00.
  3. Yeah, the game was 0-0 for the entire first half, and until about 10 minutes were left in the game. It was sloppy from the rain and Westview couldnt find any sort of rhythm until Jung Jae Park scored with 10 minutes left. That then opened the flood gates and Westview's David Pifer, Zach Fortner, and Derek Ahn (2), all scored in the closing minutes to give Westview the 5-0 win.
  4. It started with Mason Peters scoring. Then Pifer scored towards the end of the half. The first half ended 1-1. Right at the beginning of the second, Westview got another goal from Pifer and went up 2-1. After that however, Madison got a goal from Kenny I believe, and then got another off Nick's throw (I think it was an own goal) to put Madison up 3-2. Baltz then scored to level things, but Madison got another (off yet another Desio throw in) to end the game at 4-3. It was a hard fought game. Good luck to both teams.
  5. To set everything straight, the first year Simon coached Westview, he had never coached club, so its legal. Secondly, the next year, after coaching the club team the next year, he knew he would not be back, so the athletic director sent a letter to TSSAA stating that he was done with club. Once again eveything is legal. Then, their coach this year, did the same team. There will be no club team next season so Gavin is officially not a club coach, and once again the athletic director sent a letter saying this. Everything is legal. People are just trying to screw Westview over. By the way, they dominated Henry County last nite. Henry County had one shot, a crappy PK and that was the only chance they ever got. Westview hit the post a lot and couldnt finish. They will win the district this year.
  6. Dyersburg is fast and dangerous offensively, but defensively they are crap. Playing in a district with powerful offensive teams like Westview and Haywood could spell their doom.
  7. After witnessing the game, I'd have to say they are pretty weak, or at least appeared to play that way after losing 6-0. They were very small up front and never had a real shot on goal, until their PK was denied in the closing seconds. They were fairly large in the back, and their right back was good on the ball, but other than that, they were a young team who got beat badly.
  8. Nick had some freak accident that damaged some nerves in his leg/knee/ankle. I hear hes out 3 weeks.
  9. Westview defeats Zion Christian/ 6-0/ Tuesday night 5:00 P.M. Goals: Derek Ahn (3) David Pifer (2) Josh Baltz (1) Assists: David Pifer (2) Jung Jae Park (1) Josh Baltz (1) Derek Ahn (1) Cards: none Other notes: Jason Evans saves last minute P.K. to preserve Westview's shutout.
  10. Hey, Chips and Switzer what age group are yall?
  11. In West Tenn: Westview beat Trenton peabody 8-0 to win district 13.
  12. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are at the Martin Rec Fields, which is where Westview plays all of their games. The fields are right beside Westview Highschool.
  13. The tryout dates for the west TN select team in Martin are: July 5th and July 7th at 6:00.
