  1. Hey, besides last year hasn't every game been decided by a late turnover leading to a one TD win? I wouldn't say the Indians haven't compared to the Jackets, just always seem to come up short in the 2nd half.
  2. Bass you are nearly at the point of too muchiness. Scott 22 OS 7
  3. Haha, yeah and I'm sure your team couldn't sympathize with a losing season
  4. An all-state receiver from Sunbright? Now you're just being silly.
  5. In a smaller division than who? Scott High? Is this a Scott High thread?
  6. After last night, I came away very unimpressed with the Dogs. Coalfield by 3 TDs.
  7. You all are putting Oneida pretty low. The word around here is that they are ready to play this year. When was the last time the Indians had two losing seasons in a row?
  8. That is amazing. Oneida's defense was pretty stout last year, just didn't have any offense. Lambert, the D Coordinator, is one of the best around, look for them to be tough again.
  9. Leonard, I was just wondering, are you ever positive?
  10. adidas, what business do you have in here? Oneida just has trouble finding five guys that work well together. They have their times when the play well together but for the most part it's Lambert penetrating and not being able to find anybody. When he penetrates and people cut or at least move they score. Just gotta get some movement
  11. How many points did they have against those players? Lambert has been on a tear lately, how many did he have against Wartburg? Jacobs can't be stopped, contained, but not stopped.
  12. Oneida has to come to play. Did OS lose Blue or whatever from last year? He made the team go, if they still have him then it could mean trouble for the Indians. If not then Oneida needs to run when they can run and when they don't have numbers SLOW DOWN. It's not about how quick you get the shot off boys, its about making it. If Oneida learns when to push and when to slow down, they could be very dangerous.
  13. There's already a school named Oakdale...not that big though.
  14. Trousdale is the best team in 1A as far as my eyes can see. Can they be beat? Absolutely. Will it happen? Doubt it. But I would like to see those Hampton boys win it and show that Regions 1 and 2 aren't as bad as everyone says.
  15. Are you asking who the best is currently or ever? If you're asking currently then this is a question that should not be asked. In what way is this supportive of the team?
  16. Oneida lost 7 seniors from last year's team. That's their five starters and first two off the bench. The only returning player that got significant playing time last year is Benji Jacobs who is still returning from an injury. Now the good news. This team may not have the shooters the Range has but they are more athletic. If Oneida wants to win this one, I'd press the Buffs and wait for them to mistakes. Clarkrange has the advantage, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Indians stay in it and win it.
  17. What Region 2 one of the weakest? It's usually one of the top 3 at least. Region 1 is the weakest easily.
  18. Yeah and one of the reasons Cloudland doesn't get much respect is that they pump their team up on here and have been knocked out of the playoffs in at least the 2nd round the past three years.
  19. Couldn't agree more. Some of the best coaches(John Wooden for example) knew how to coach their players. Some respond well to being chewed out, some do not. But one thing, is true you will eventually get yelled at. When the ystop yelling, they stop caring.

Now I don't know much, but I know Benji is a good player. I think both he and Zach will most likely carry the team in scoring this year. I played with Benji for two years and I don't mind saying that I wasn't that great. Benji is 6'1 6'2 tops and has more ability in his little finger than I ever had and I started for the Indians last year. If Benji was getting dominated, which is unlikely to begin with, then he has a pretty good excuse. He's 6'2 with bad knees, what do you expect him to do in the post? Then he comes out and is usually the best player on the floor becasue he's the smartest player out there. If they can get someone to get him the ball then they'll be fine. Benji plays with more heart than anybody I've ever played with, the kid won't give up. You can say all you want, but Benji's a good ball player because he's worked his butt off to be the best.
  21. Actually the game should have been closer, Harriman was in the red zone 5 times and didn't score? That's pitiful. Coalfield will put it in if they get in the red zone, here's a tip, stop Brandon Davis lol. Should be a good game, I'm taking the Jackets by 7.
  22. No way he gets 4 sacks against Harriman.
