Facts: With block scheduling it is possible to graduate mid year of your senior year. Many students have done this in the past. Many major college football programs, including UT, have student athletes graduate early so that they can attend spring football practice in college. Tony D is ready. Okay that last one is just an opinion, but the ranking services have the same opinion as well.

Farragut beat Baylor 3-2 in a very good baseball game at historic Engle Stadium. The Admirals were outhit 9 or so to 5, but both teams played well.

I understand that the Halls vs. Collierville game has been moved to Farragut's field. The game is to start at 5:30 pm.

That was the 1971 season. Gordonsville beat Bellevue 8-6 in the Watertown Lions Bowl.

I appreciate this trip down memory lane. As an old GHS Tiger now in East Tennessee, it is good to see the same school spirit as was there 30 years ago.
