I hate that all this has happened at Temple. I am sure that all those involved have had a hard time. God has been doing great things in your school so don't even let this get you down. I have seen and heard cool things being done through your FCA so continue to let God use you as a school.

I admit that this topic is interesting, but there is no reason to imply anything about a coach who has done a lot for Temple. It doesn't matter if you like him, coach against him or just like to stir the pot coach Skogen seems to really care about Temple and the kids on his team. I, just like a lot of you don't know the whole story and I know we are trying to find out the whole story, but for the sake of the kids who are affected by what is going on and what is said, I think it is better that we just call him if we really care so much about him and his sons.

Cody Cross for Grace would have a better average, but against Kings he got hurt on the kickoff and didn't play the rest of the game. That 1 play lowered his average per game stat. He would be at 14 tackles per game.

Just for the record eaglemaniac is a former Grace student who finished school at Ooltewah. He knows nothing about what our football team is doing. Temple has seen our film they know we do not do a lot of trick plays. Besides we have all known all week about the rain so why would we want to try a bunch of trick plays in the rain. Tricks plays do not normally work, add in the rain. Listen to the majority of Grace fans and you can see they do not share the same attitude.

I respect your thoughts but, if people want to address religion on this thread then they should be able too. The fact is as Christians you shouldn't turn in on and off. So whether it is a game or writing on coach t, Christians should speak or write just as if Jesus was here himself. You may not be a Christian and that is your choice, but for those who are everything we do should reflect Jesus. I am not trying to preach to anyone on here, but lets be honest, a football game is a terribl things to waste someone's reputation and credibility on. Yes we all want to win football games, but if someone see's how Christians should treat each other and wants to know more about that, that is way more important. Whether Temple or Grace wins, all that really matters is did both schools represent Christ well. If they didn't, it really dosen't matter who wins. Good luck to both schools. They both have great players and coaches.

There is not one thing that has happened. It is just a matter of the two schools not always getting along and FCA is trying to help.

If you have seen Kevin Pollard play then 15 is not unrealistic. Grace has played a few weak teams and there center's could not handle him. He is a very fast noseguard who comes hard every play. If I was not there to see everyone of them then I would agree that it sounds to hard to believe.

Grace and Temple are rivals and both will come out and play hard. I will let them decide the outcome and not people on here. Both schools are working hard to improve the relationship between them. This Friday at 6:00 both schools FCA's will be getting together to eat, fellowship, and pray together. Both schools have allowed sports to ruin their testimonies so we hope to try and change that. I know it will take more than just this, but with the students at both schools working to change things it can happen.

Both are good teams. It should be a great game and very important to both teams. Good luck to both teams.

I played with you your Senior year. I was a sophmore. I graduated in 95.

That is very thoughtful. That will help me deal with my problems better. I may be able to recover from all the damage done to me now. Thank you. That was very good.

Do you not have better things to worry about than this? Besides, part of the problem is we at Ooltewah have been brain washed to believe the refs are always against us. When I played we didn't always have great teams but we were always told the refs just don't like us. We need to wake up and realize that they are not really out to get us. I already feel better getting that off my chest. All of us former Ooltewah football players need to start a support group so we see that not every ref is against us.

What years did Stan Nix play? Who else was on his team? I agree with the other two. There really hasn't been too many good QB's in our history. I know while I played there we always struggled at QB. They were all average.

It is funny reading all this stuff on here. Grace is a young team and program which are working hard to improve. I hate there are those on here that misrepresent our football team. The coaches and players are realistic about the season and the teams we play. We play hard no matter who we are against and we will see what the outcome is. We respect every team in our region but we also believe that we have a chance to beat everybody we play. That is not saying we will, but if you don't believe you can win every game then you don't need to play. You can say what you will about the schedule, but I know we scheduled teams we could compete with because we knew that our region would be tough. Little did we know that our team would come along like it has so that those teams were not as much of a challenge as we thought they would be. We are a good team who hopes to become a great program like South Pitt. We are doing it one game at a time.

You are right. I remember the game now. Our fans at Christmas just don't show up, but I am not sure why more were not there when you guys came here. Our fans have been great this year. With all our seniors and then Carter being 6'10" it has caused a lot of excitement and people have been showing up from all over the place to see Grace play. It should be a great game.
