Ooltewah and the AD's scrimmaged this summer and held FHS to no score. However the QB was out though. Go AE! The FHS & KCHS game: 1. FHS runs a 3-5 D and the KCHS coach knows all to well from the days at Blount you have to throw the football short stuff to beat the AD's and mix in a very good run game to keep them on their toes. (Blitz) LB's KCHS did a very good job of this however both D's gave up to many big plays to even be mentioned as a Great D. JMO 2. OHS IMO did not know what they were about to get into with AE and AE was more than ready. The Owl's had their backs to wall and were about to get a taste of CROW for over looking a very hungry AE team on a mission. 3. KCHS looks really, really good and if they can establish a passing attack early I believe they will take this one. 24-15 4. AE if the Roadrunners make Catholic one dimensional AE wins in a close one. 15-13 Good luck to both teams! Go Owl's

And Alcoa is a 2A school and I don't see you lining up to play them. Ask Marryville how a little 2A school plays. Classification defines the size of the pool not the quality of athletes. A-E was a very talented and fast team and matched up well against the Owls. We will see how SD matches up. Go Owls Here we go I guess you guys are ready to get rid of the coach now to. What does Alcoa got to do with this I know they could beat you guys why don't you guys line them up to play and Maryville. Cut some more cheese. Do some research before you post. Top teams out of the Knoxville area every year Alcoa, Fulton, A-E, Knox Catholic in lower classifications. Check out the match up between Catholic and A-E last year. This A-E team is GOOD.... The Owls D won this game and once the O starts to click it will be lights out. Go Owl's!

It is too early in the season to really fill everything out. How good is Tyner? Tyner and Signal tied in the Jamboree and Signal destroyed their first opponent of the year Hixson who which played 2 quarters in the Chattanooga Jamboree 1st Signal Mnt. 0-0 2nd Rhea Co 0-0 and should have won that one 3-0. Ooltewah Strength Defense A and could be a plus just too early to tell. IMOP they need a little swag because they absolutely deserve it. Special Teams A+ John Long 50+ yards if needed PK. kicks into the end zone 90% of the time. Kick and Punt returners can take it to the house and will do so on many occasions I believe this season. Offense B they have all the key ingredients to be a A+. If they find that grove they will be Very Scary. Even given them a B they can score quick and often and thats a fact. stay on your toes. Head Coach A+ Benny KNOWS Monroe. Been there done that seen it again and again has a wardrobe of the T-shirts-shirts. The wisest Owl of all. Coaching B only because Hamilton County limits paid coaching staff and if they could have more one on one's instruction, IMO they could have had 2-4 State Championships in the last 9 years. The Owls do have a outstanding staff and those who are there are all A's. Fan Support A+ Great Crowds and travel like it is a Home game too. Go Owl's! Well this is just a guess. There is a creek that runs through this area and the name of this creek is Hurricane. There is a neighborhood named Hurricane Creek too that could have been named by the adjacent creek also. Other than that I don't know. East Brainerd Youth Colors are green and Gold so I also believe they wanted to incorporate that into the equation as well.

I hope they have trouble blocking the other 10 outstanding Owls too. Mr. Smith is a humble outstanding athlete and if he remembers the road he has traveled to get where he is today he will be Great in all his ventures in life here on after. Stay Humble, strong, positive, and lead by example. The Owls will have 60 leaders on and off the field because those who choose to sweat, bleed, and shed a tear together, they are the ones who make the difference on the field and off. You are calling Tyner losers and you are from ooltewah?? That stands for overrated in every sport. At least Tyner has sniffed deep in the playoffs in the past 10-12 years, even got a ring I believe!!! Lets see............. 75-33 record and the Owls have been in the playoffs 8 times in the past nine years 12-8 in the playoffs with 2 semi-final games where they lost to the State Champions. (Smyrna, Oakland) The Owls rank 17th in the area that includes North GA, AL in the post season. Thats just in 9 years. Now Benny Monroe record is 250-63 if you needed to know that too. I guess the Owls are over rated..... Tyner is 76-33 in the same time frame. Both teams have done well and should be reconized for that. It just goes to show you there is a lot of Great players in this area of town. Go Owl's! And Thats The Truth........................................

Good luck to both teams with the edge going to the AD's our old Region 2 5A rival. To the Tribe tons of respect too. We have had some GREAT games. Let the East take the Crown where it has always belonged. Go Owls!
