York looked much better last week and if they can keep the snaps down, i think they will pull this one out. That wasted second or two can make a big difference in a play.

Yes our QB Mason Cravens did a great job of pulling them down. It wasn't just a few high snaps but I'd say at least half or more which kept slowing down plays.

York played better this week. White Co is not by any means equal to Stone as someone said. York was within 6 points in the 4th quarter but a pass interference call gave WC a 1st and they ended up scoring. Not many schools would run it up at the end by going for a TD with time running out like White Co did last night. But York used to beat them easily and that time will come again and I hope our coach remembers that last TD. York must have had 80% of their hikes go high and that cost a lot of plays I believe. I hope they get that fixed before next week.

Yes, a result of the TN legislature refusing it. Otherwise we could have affordable insurance. So will sports be cut out?

Oh, I am so glad to read that. Just hope schools know better than to run up the score...they could be on the other end of it...just ask Upperman! (they ran the score up all season in 2013 and then got beaten 75-18 in the state championship game)

If this score is right the Spring Hill coach should be fired for running up the score. After 60 points the QB should be taking a knee every possession. But this score came from the Tennessean which also had Trousdale Co. losing to Westmoreland so maybe this was another wrong score.

York's offense was not new. The coach was offensive coordinator last year. Last year's players, except for QB Mason Cravens, didn't play like they did last year. Mason was York's offense for the most part. The defense played very poorly, but against a very good Stone team. I think Stone will roll again come Friday night. York will bounce back. The passing game was very good and Mason's running was excellent. These Dragons have heart and determination and I believe they will beat White Co. Friday. Dekalb Co. has its work cut out for them.

one rule for privates...get anyone in the state or country you want. Publics get their home grown kids.

That is because the privates can recruit anyone they want without any rules, while the public schools have very strict rules.

The TSSAA voted 5-4 to not split so now the privates can just keep on recruiting and keep having an unfair advantage. The public schools need to start their our athletic association!
