  1. Mphstigerfan, I kind of don't understand why you would root for Creek Wood. I mean I know you are intitled to your own opinion, but I just find it funny that Spring Hill is a school from your county, and whether you realize it or not, every year when our guy's season is over, most of them come to watch Mount Pleasant in the playoffs and give them support. I just thought you'd like to see us have a return to the playoffs, but I guess not.
  2. first of all, i love my school and my football team. having a win at fairview would be awesome, however there is a bigger picture in play, beating REGION teams and getting a seed in the playoffs which ya'll deserve soo much. don't let the unimportant things distract you! (and don't take that wrong because i know a win is a win, and every game is important.)
  3. school: spring hill, region winner: Giles County is serious and they can definitely bring the heat. I witnessed the MP game against Giles Co. They are really good
  4. Honestly, i just want to make the point that there is no "I" in TEAM. Regardless of how many people want to say Marco makes the difference..........there are other boys on that team that work their butts off every day at practice. Marco is an awesome football player, however, he would not be able to execute plays without the help of his offensive line, or be able to keep other teams from scoring without strong tackles from the defense.
  5. haha.....well that is my hometown, i haven't lived there since 6th grade, and i'm a senior this year, but i hope they do good with coach beaver. good luck to ya'll though, i believe i'll be in the good ole SH that night to watch my boys play!
  6. when is the portland white house game? and how do you think the outcome is looking with portland having a new head coach and all??
  7. i think a lot of "bad calls" happened tonight, but hey, what comes around goes around. they will get it handed to them. white house, you will be fine. we all know the coaching staff has ya'll quite prepared! good luck this year in 3a!
  8. Honestly, this was probably one of the best football games played tonight, and whoever said this would be a nail biter, you were right. As the third quarter was entered, it was Spring Hill 0, CC 7. Columbia made another touchdown, and Spring Hill made two TD'S in the 3rd to tie it. In the beginning of the 4th, CC scored again, leaving Spring Hill to tie it with 2:50 left. Columbia Central 22, Spring Hill 22. Spring Hill let the clock run out and we headed into overtime. Spring Hill chose to be on the offensive first, making the touchdown and going for the two point conversion. Score SH 30, Central 22. Central made a touchdown on their 3rd play and also made the conversion, which made the score SH 30, Columbia 30. We then moved into double overtime, Spring Hill did not score, and it was then Central's turn. Central tried three times, each time not scoring, and finally on their fourth drive, they kicked a field goal winning the game CC 33, SH 30. Honestly, it was one of the best football games I've seen in a long time. To my boys at Spring Hill, I love ya'll. You make me proud to call myself a Raider. Eventhough we didn't win and it's my senior year, we proved every person and team wrong that said we weren't ready to play football. You all will succeed this year, I know it. Thanks for putting the effort in during the week and on Friday nights........All of the regulars will be there to support you on Friday Nights!! =)
  9. This is the biggest rivalry in Spring Hill football. Any predictions?
  10. I don't think SH is ready to give up that easy either. I promise the boys have been working hard. I know both teams will play really good on Friday night!
  11. Spring Hill beat MP 24-14. It started raining right after that game, so I have no clue about the other scores.
  12. Honestly, I have no clue. I don't think our coach or the administration would let that happen though. I just know the guys are ready to play some football. It should be a good game in the jamboree on Friday night!

    Jamborees

The Columbia Jamboree is August 11th at the Maury County Park field. I believe the games start at 6 PM, but I am not sure about the time. Spring Hill plays Mount Pleasant. Last year, I believe Central played Lawrence Co. Creek Wood also attended the jamboree. I don't remember who else played each other though. Sorry. Hope this was somewhat helpful?
  14. good luck mc! we paly you first game, but after that i root for you! i think you all have a really good shot far into the playoffs!
  15. Yesterday Spring Hill and Ezell Harding scrimmaged. Ezell's quarterback handled the ball very well, but the team just didn't look how the normally do. Spring Hill quarterback Magwan Smith made two touchdowns for the Raiders, while they shut out EH. The final score was SH 14, EH 0. I'm glad Spring Hill is playing some football!
