It would be a "fluke", as long as the Tribe has any kind of an athletic team, central does not have a chance.. You say, and I quote, " when you beat centra, its like the best thing that ever happened to MCHS".. Thats not the case, the tribe just likes to see the sad look on your face after another loss.. The whole thing about heart, thats a joke.. You have alot of nerve saying the tribe is going to get beat like a drum, all I will say is 43 to NOTHING!!!!!!!!.. Who cares if they dont want to give interviews after the game... The 4.5 sacks a game, look who you did it against, it was East Ridge and Red Bank wow thats doing something let me tell you... Caldwell is a good back, but he will have to do more than hit the hole fast tonight.. The Tribe D will show up to play and so will the offense.. It starts in 4 and a half hours, its almost time to go Owl hunting!!! GO TRIBE!!!!!!

annoyance, where did you get the information.. I ask because, I know there are some NCAA rules dealing with high school players at this point in the year, but I dont know what the specifics are, but I would like to know where you got your info??

well we have already said Locke got caught twice in the Cumberland Co. game, he lacks the speed to break away but he will make people miss so he gets his yards too, and from what I saw Caldwell cant make people miss, and he wont be able to run over our D like he did Red Bank and East Ridge.. Caldwell gets his yards, but look how many times you give him the ball, he should get yards when you get the ball 20 times in the first half or thats how many times he got the ball last week according to your announcer on your loud speaker at last weeks game at halftime ... As for your D unless you put Caldwell on D, which he may play D, I didnt see him play last week on D, but unless you have him in, there isnt a person on your D who can catch McBride, and like i said your line is slow! GO TRIBE!!!!!!!

Ooltewah does have some speed but, but Mcminn has just as much speed, and from what I saw your line is not athletic,they are stong but slow! Whats the deal with the Macminn thing, not everbody here talks like that just the old people who don't know any better... You just need to be sure that Ooltewah is going to walk the walk, they will have a game on their hands tonight, and the Cherokees will leave the "Nest" tonight with a victory... GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!

Well maybe you dont know just how good Mcminn is this year, we will see tomorrow, and I speak for all the Tribe fans when I say YOU will be suprised!!! Its going to be a good game, even without our three starters, but the Tribe always finds ways to pull themselves out of things like this.. This game is going to be huge, just because there is history between the two teams, and because we are making this a big game... This will be a close game, but the Tribe will leave Ooltewah with the Win... I Think the Tribe will find a way to stop Caldwell... Matt Moody, Steven McBride, Keith Melton, and Justin West I think will step up and play well for the Cherokees on D.. James Carr, Steven McBride, Trey Locke, Justin West, Trace McDermott I think will step up and have big games for the Tribe on offense... Its going to be a good game and I cant wait to watch it... This is the biggest post I have ever seen on coacht.. Well its finally here, we have been talking about this game for two weeks and its here... This will be a good game.. I went down to watch the Owls to play East Ridge, and it was an ok game.. The Owls looked sloppy the first half but look ok the second half... Caldwell, I dont think played the way the Owl fans talked him up on coacht, dont get me wrong, he is a fast back but I personally was not impressed with his performance on this particular game, neither were the people I watched the game with... You have some good size on the o line but, my personal opinion, they dont move that well.. Ooltewah's defence and offense have some talent, but on the other hand so does Mcminn.. This game will come down to who wants it more, both Mcminn and Ooltewah want this game bad but, its going to be a dog fight to the end... I am going say Mcminn will win this one by 7... GO TRIBE!!

I dont think its unfair, I look at it as a golden opportunity for them, with good performances by Devon and Keith, that could mean more pt for them.. They will do good, they are good athletes and have had some good coaches around them, they will do just fine... They will need to make some plays for them, whether they are big or small, Ooltewah, like I said, will bring everything they have and will play hard.. The Cherokees will do good though, it will be a good game.. Go Tribe!!

Good point, I am not trying to make excuses, but the playing conditions were not the best, but he should have caught the ball, but I think he will make some plays for the Tribe next week, it will help.. Ooltewah will come with everything they have and the Tribe is going to have to play a good game to come out on top..

Keith will step up and play well.. He is a good athlete and can do the job, he has just as much speed as Nigel, if not more, and he will hit you.. That is a good move by Coach D and his staff..

There is no doubt that he has the ability, but saying he will or he wont, its hard to say.. He dropped a pass last week that should have been caught, but everybody drops passes, I think some of that was nerves too.. I will say that, I think he will make some plays for the Cherokees next week, but the whole team is going to have to step up not just the players filling in for Nigel and Stansell..

This game is going to be won by Ooltewah, I dont think ER has anybody who can stop Caldwell, I think the owls will beat ER mentally and physically, and I cant wait for next week it will be a good game.. Ooltewah: 35 East Ridge: 7

This is not a good situation for the Tribe to be in, with Nigel not being able to play and now Stansell no being able to play thats going to put some pressure on some other people to step up and play.. I think the Tribe will find some people to step up and play.. Its really going to hurt not having both of those players.. What happened to Stansell cant be helped.. I know players get caught up in the game and sometimes do things that are stupid, but What Nigel did was just totally uncalled for, and he would have played a huge part on D next week for the Tribe.. This still should be a good game next week, and I think it will be close.. The Owls will win tomorrow against ER, and that will put both teams undefeated going into next weeks game.. I cant wait to see the Owls and the Cherokees play next week.. Go Tribe!!

Well the big d lineman is back, and your right he does need to get meaner, he would be a much better player.. No they dont have another 6'3 receiver like Jujan and his cousin Maurice.. The team this year has a little more team speed than last year and a little bit deeper at RB.. It will be a good game and I expect both teams to show up and play.....

Well the girls do look good down there in Ooltewah, but the game next week is what I cant wait to see.. It will be one of the best games in east tennessee next week..

WOW!! This post has really taken off, I like to see people talking trash about high school football, thats one of the things that makes it fun.. This should really be a good game..Ooltewah has some good players and so does MCMINN!!( some people dont say it like you would say MACMINN).. Caldwell is a good back and shold be respected and so should Mcminn's backs ( McBride, Locke, and McDermott) all these respected backs will get their yards.. The D on both teams is going to have to take their game to another level, This will be game, but the team who shows up to play and has the fewest mistakes and plays the best D will come out on top.. Ooltewah has to worry about the game this week before they can worry about the Tribe.. I say Mcminn will win this game 14 to 10.. I think our D will find a way to stop Caldwell.. I am going to give credit to Ooltewah, they do have some good looking girls, I met a girl from there a year ago, she cheered. and she was fine!! No doubt, this will be one of the best games played in east tennessee next week.. GO CHEROKEES!!
