congradulations to melrose on a good game friday night an advancing. i was a little dissapointed with them from the teams that have come from OM in the past. i was just checking up on all of the summaries and stats from friday and i thought i would make some corrections.. sam shutt #4- hc, had one reception for a 43 yard TD thrown by our back-up quarterback #11 brett carnal. sam returned the kickoff for our 3rd TD. hunter deberry #7 had 9 catches for 96 yards. passing was the only way hardin county got around.. melrose run defense is very tough. if henry county wants to win this game they will need both a passing offense with an established running game and on defense they will have to contain tthe running back #34 i believe and they will need to stay deep on recievers, because they have speed- which is no suprise- and suprisingly very good hands on #2,81, and 13. good luck to both teams. of course id like to see my henry county take this one but who knows.. this game should be a good one to watch. my prediction will be melrose 27 to henry countys 21.

u say that neither of the recievers would start for jcm. that is a joke among jokes. i guarentee you that both of these boys could outrun any of your jcm recievers and probably outcatch them. i also know for fact that both #4 sam shutt and #7 hunter deberry run in the mid 4.4's. if u tell me that is not fast for 2 highschool recievers on one team u have lost ur mind. sam shutt ran down calvin with ease and scored with ease. hunter deberry, 6 foot white guy outjumped your 6'2 black db with ease.. telll me what the deal is yanker cause you obviously dont know what you are talking about when it comes to the henry county-hardin county game..

i have just recently heard that hunter deberry-hardin county dislocated his shoulder at last weeks football camp is out for 6 weeks i do believe. if this is true then he will most likely miss the henry county game which is one of the toughest 2 games on the tigers schedule. they will have a tough time against them. they will HAVE to rely on their sophmore quarterback, sam shutt, and spencher jackson the defensive tackle who made the all state team last year in 4A.. good luck guys

well the rumor is that hunter deberry and sam shutt, both at hardin county have reportedly both ran in the 4.4's. an they both have very good hands. from the looks of things hardin county should have an offense like mckinzie did last year.. maybe not as productive but a lot of passing..an with these 2 guys at WR they should rack up quite a few yards this season.

i must have to say i agree with the top three recievers in the state. ive heard great things about all three of them but ive been able to watch hunter deberry of hardin county and he really has the ability to perform at the next level. i have heard that tyler maples has already committed to tennessee. is this correct? where is the other kid from? ive heard of him but dont know much about him.

hunter deberry will be returning next year as a senior. he finished this past year with 31 stolen bases, 4th in the state

milligan is goin to walters state junior college an should be drafted in the summer. he attended an atlanta braves showcase a week ago where there were 23 position players an 10 pitchers. scouts say he did well an only thing left to do is wait until further notice.

So far all anyone can say is he is a great receiver or is having a great year.........How about stats? Can anyone deliver..............? We need to see some stats to see just where how they measure.

I guess, of course thatyou would have to take into consideration which region you are talking about if nothing else. Let's see if we were talking about Regions 7 & 8, then yes it would be a great honor to be chosen for this All Region Team.
