  1. Both are on the team "now" but that might change today or tomorrow or ???? Both had a great scrimmage vs. Huntingdon in the spring! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Deshaun not want to play last year and Tylon likes baseball. They both are back on the team (their choice) and both should be great players for the Big Red. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  2. Give me names_________________________________________________________ and I will give you answers.
  3. Can Milan show football players how to play baseball?? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  4. He was offered the head coach job at JCM last week and turned it down. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> The "talent walking the halls" rumors are not true. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  5. Bryant Hollingsworth. Bryant is a former LHS player and current asst. coach. I think it's a good hire for the Big Red and he will be a very good head coach!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> He's just the third head coach for LHS in 40 years.
  6. Both Bart Stowe & Wade Comer have turned down the job. Brownsville has made some "promises" to keep Bart from leaving. I don't think Comer ever wanted the job to begin with. He was turned down for the Huntingdon job. Huntington should have hired Coach Comer. Lexington scrimmage Huntingdon back in the spring and scored 4 or 5 TD's on them. They are going to be weak this season. Because the talent well has run dry, they are going to need a good coach. I know for a fact who is not going to get the LHS football job!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> It's another Henderson Co. money mess!
  7. Add Wade Comer from McKenzie to the list.
  8. Not sure about leaving Brownsville?? Lexington is his home town.
  9. Seven coaches have applied for the head coach position. Coach Bart Stowe, Johnny McAdams, Bryant Hollingsworth and four "out of town" coaches. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Once again, if knew anything about Lexington BB you would know that Lexington is NOT a "one man" team. We had 7 players make the all district team with a 28 - 4 record. The other eight will and have beat most teams with great batting. Don't forget about outstanding defense! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I would not trade our SS or 2nd baseman for anyone.
  11. I'm not the one with a little "size" problem, you are. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> And I'm not sore about it! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Billy had a great game Monday...two HR's and 6 or 7 RBI's. Next game it could be some one else. As for our starting line up ask Bolivar, Jax Southside, Ripley, Jax Liberty or Bartett the defending AAA state champ a game we led a till the 6th inning and score 6 runs on at their place. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> What about defense? The Big Red did another great job Monday night with good "D". Please tell everyone you know to "pitch around" Billy Keck......then Kizer, Rush, Hehe, Johnson or some else will "mop up" for the win. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Only when playing Middle Tenn teams! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Are there any big boys from across the river who can hit a center field home run on our "little league field"?? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  13. Every year at this time we have to listen to all the dorks from Middle Tenn trash our BB field. If its 345 to center for Lexington THEN ITS 345 to center for the visiting team also, RIGHT?? If Lexington is hitting these bombs why wasn't your team doing it also?? I would think 99% of all high school BB players & coaches would like a short center field, but not middle Tenn teams..why?? Lexington's BB team plays in a city park on a field that's maybe 35 years old. No room at the high school to build a new field. What would a new compete ball field cost? $75,000 to $100,000 dollars? All new metal light poles, fencing, grass, press box, bathrooms, PA system, stands, parking, lighting, paving and food area, etc. The Co just spent $10 million building a new middle school and plans to spend another $10 million for a new Henderson Co jail. So a new ball field is further down the list. Now in Middle Tenn where the property taxes are three times higher then they are here in Henderson Co you can a new high school & ball fields on every corner with a "just right" center fence to make everyone happen. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Lexington travels all over West & Middle Tenn to play BB and no one ever "cries" about the another teams house! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> HINT! HINT! If you come to Lexington and get yours butt's beat on our "little" field and can't hit any bombs....... now thats your little middle Tenn problem!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> GOOD LUCK TO THE LEXINGTON BIG RED TIGERS!! *** 12 AA DISTRICT CHAMPS ***
  14. The Bolivar Tigers are a very good BB team! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> The Overton kid pitch a good game for the green Tigers. Lexington played a great game on defense. I think the biggest joke of the night was Lexington's SS Ryan Johnson not making the all district team. But then again, his parents were not busy "networking or rubbing shoulders" thru the district games either! Great kid with great parents! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> The SS for Bolivar would have made my list also. Best of luck to both of the Tiger teams!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  15. GOOD LUCK BIG RED TIGERS!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> *** 12 AA District Champs ***
  16. GOOD LUCK BIG RED TIGERS!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Billy Keck did. The pitcher and SS for Bolivar are both studs!! Thru the WHOLE game the LHS fans seem to enjoy the game more. They made more noise and being more supportive of the players. The Bolivar fans just seem to sit on their hands?? The green Tigers are a very good BB team. It was a great game. Good luck Big Red Tigers tonight!
  18. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^WARNING.....purpledorkalert! /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  19. The red Tigers over the green Tigers. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> And lets have no JAX SS BS in this game, ok! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Good luck LHS TIGERS!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  20. Try not to worry about what high school teens say about a HS basball team on coach T. Most Big Red fans believe we have a good soild BB team this year. Parents nor players schedule teams to play. You play who you are told to play....."good" or "bad". Did you say what team you support? Their schedule? Once again, in the future try little more control. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  21. A lot of high school basball teams would love to go the state tournament and go two and out......including you little man and your team. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  22. ....."weak schedule"......when little kids play on the internet /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Lexington has played: Ripley and McKenzie (state champs two yrs ago) Will play this season: Barlett ('07 AAA state champs), Milan, Henry Co. Jax Northside, Bolivar, JCS, Liberty and Jax Southside. Show me a "decent" team who could walk thru that schedule?
  23. Glad to hear it. I hope you enjoy your first time visit tonight.
