  1. Tonight's game was ugly to say the least. NCS again was plagued by fumbles, many unforced, and lack of offensive execution. CPA had a slow start, but picked things up in the 2nd quarter, moving the ball and capitalizing off NCS's mistakes. I agree that NCS is a much improved team, but has a long way to go to play with CPA for a whole game (especially considering lack of depth and turnover frequency). Sikes and Landers are great athletes who play very hard and lead CPA's offense. Couldn't see much about Polluck tonight because of the weather. The one thing that did bother me and other fans, however, was #10's constant jawing and late hits. The kid plays hard and does have a famous father, but the lack of character shown on the field was somewhat surprising, though i can understand the competitiveness that comes out in some players in that way from time to time. Overall it was a good game and i was glad to be able to see it. Good luck to both teams in the rest of the season. I haven't seen the official stats yet, but i believe CPA had under 200 yards total offense. Much can be taken from that, but just an interesting stat, if it is indeed true.
  2. I think CPA definitely has the upper hand in this matchup. However, i would be hesitant to judge NCS's ability to play with them based on their previous two games. FRA came out and played a good game, but had it handed to them on a platinum plate with glitter around the edges. While FRA may not be the FRA of old, they are by no means "a terrible team". Like i said, I'll take CPA in this matchup anyday, but dont underestimate the ability of the underdog from previous matchups. NCS may not be a dominant dynasty like PJPII, but they can play football from time to time. But, for some people ignorance really is bliss. STOP FRONTIN LOL Good luck to both teams tomorrow night.
  3. thanks ncs03 but i know how to spell night. i just thought i would be a lil different
  4. cbarkley i was just wondering what school you were a supporter of you seemed to have jumped on the ncs bandwagon
  5. I dont know who you are but i from what i saw wooden wasnt the only thing that hurt ncs. dca had couple of long passes that hurt ncs. and chris wooden is a good back but he was not 100%. he got up slow quite a few times after the ncs people who "couldnt tackle" him did. I'll take ncs over fra but it seemed to me that dca was just too much for them. i guess it doesnt help the ncs boys that almost all of them play both ways. dca and cpa are definetely the top two this year but its still early in the season and ncs and fra and everyone else has time to improve. it should be an interesting year.
  6. from what ive seen of ezell they are definetely down. davidson played a fairly good game against a tough cheatom county team. even though they lost i would say that they have a good if not great chance against ezell
