S*cks about the officiating, but how can you say that the refs were more for Clifton. The foul margin was 19-5 in favor of Mt Pleasant the 2nd half. I heard about the Santa Fe game and I would have to agree that they got hosed from the sound of it. stinks that the refs got 2 teams in one night. Oh well, if if's and but's were candy and nuts we would all have a merry christmas, right. I say good luck to all teams, but Wayne Co will win district and possibly region too, that's my pick for it all, Mt. Pleasant will probably have to play Forrest, Summertown & Moore Co, Perry Co & W'boro will play for the 12-a title, I am not sure who will place 3rd & 4th in 11-A, those are just my predictions, Wayne Co & Moore Co to Substate.

I think a dunk can be a total momentum change. I can remember two years ago we were playing Hampshire and winning and the big guy on there team, Tommy was his name I think. Ran straight down the middle of the floor and just threw down a monster dunk from pretty far up. I guess my team just lost spirits can't really remember that well but we ended up losing. The dunk changed the entire momentum of the game. I would take a dunk over a layup anyday.

yea we play boyd buchanon in our first game. I didnt mention the tournament because I was mainly referring to district play. sorry

Sorry for the last post I meant to say next BIG test is the 6th, Collinwood is not a team to be overlooked and we need to focus on them tonight, not the wildcats. and dont forget about scotts hill monday night.

I say we need to prove something before we start making threads like this we have had 3 big challenges, and lost 2 of them. We hung with summertown, yes, but we played like t-total crap against Mt. Pleasant. Lost by 10(summertown) and 30 (MP). We play collinwood tonight, but our next test is the 6th we gotta go to 'da boro, waynesboro that is. When we start winning big-time games like that maybe we can get on here and start talking a little smack, but until then I think some of us need to cool it.

I know they are great athletes I have played against them for a couple of years now. I guess that means box out and box out hard lol. Do ya know anything about J Webster and how he has been playin. Like I said before I am sure he is playin great.

I am sure Jemarcus (sorry for spelling) Webster is playing good, but what about the twins? How are they playing so far this season. I am sure it can't be that bad with a 5-0 record.

Summertown won by 10 67-57 I believe but we did do one thing, we held White to 13 points, I know that isn't great but it isn't 20 though lol. James did have 23 though

Can't we all just get along? I say we need to, if all teams in tennessee high school basketball acted like this it would not be a very respectable sport now would it?

I am gonna go out on a limb and say WC by 8, I know the vikings have a good team but I do not think they will be able to gaurd Nutt Byrd and Bryant. Good luck to both teams, I wish I could watch as it is sure to be an awesome game

defense you arent kiddin about summertown being a challenge they always have been and probably always will be but as you do i hope we can keep our record intact. after traveling to summertown we come back home to face another undefeated team in Mt Pleasant we will definitely be tested in this coming week. tomorrow night should prove to be a very good game.
