While I think there is a bunch of teams whos helmets are pretty cool, White House's is the most original. If you think about it, All the emblems are somehow already used on the professional and collegiate level, with the only difference being some color changes.

Is there anybody on your team who pretty much can do it all? I was thinking about this earlier today, so I thought it might be interesting to see what you guys say. Names that come to me are people like Cooper from Melrose who played running back and was the kicker... Broadrick from White House was one of the top receivers on the team last year, was 2nd in tackles on the team with 96, returned punts and kick-offs, and was the back-up holder on the Extra-point team. What about you guys?

How do you think Ricky Ladd will do now that he is playing in a lower classification? Will he do better or do worse, because even though WH moves down, they lost a pretty dominating O-Line. These are your top backs this year in my opinion(Not in order): Miller, Ladd, Smith, Cooper, Weathers, Lindsey, and Brown

Excellent points. Exactly what I've been saying all off-season. If you thought he looked fast against 4-A opponents, just wait till you see him play against some of these 3-A schools. Could get very ugly, very fast. The line will be sound, WH is returning their fullback, they have the potential to be a tremendous force in 3-A. ........But so does Pearl-Cohn

I mean i know i have never witnessed an actual football game, but when Gallatin is ranked over White House and WH beats Gallatin 3-0 in a scrimmage, I mean i just feel like i am losing brain cells every time i look a ranking. But thats just me

i wouldn't rank Greenbriar top 20, maybe top 50 or something like that, they lost some key players and i dont think they will be as good as they were last year, Alcoa is good but not #3 in the state good, Maryville is higher, Oak Ridge is higher, Huntington is questionable, pretty much everything is questionable.... but other than that, i mean your pretty darn close... ...except for Riverdale, i think you nailed that one on the money thumb

Dont know much about any other teams, but i pretty much echo what catfish-hunter has to say. Ladd & Council, WH & PC; top two runnung backs, top two teams.

When your a Mr. Football finalist in the 4A level and you drop down in classification, you have to be the favorite... 3A- Ricky Ladd

I have seen the LB from Blackman and he will be one, if not the best linebackers in the state. Good feet, pretty fast(ran like a 4.7 or 4.6), strong, he will be the one to watch along with Butler from Riverdale. thumb

Is there a link i can go to see DB's facilities?

Just within their class, they have almost every position filled. What i mean is that sometimes when you look at a starting roster, you'll see some juniors and maybe a couple of sophomores. But when this class become seniors, its all seniors playing. They have some real good sized lineman and some backs who in a couple of years will be as good, if not better, than Ricky. Watch Out for theses guys.

Akers starts at strong safety, and no, do not expect to see any freshmen out there this fall. But in two or three years, This group should be a state contender.

Look for Lau, Abernathy, Smith, and Akers. That will be the main core of recievers. And they will be good.

White house will scrimmage David lipscomb, Smith Co., and Hendersonville. They will also play Beech in the jamboree.

Who is the flat out biggest guy on your team, height, weight, etc. The biggest guy i have ever seen was a couple of years ago, Rossview had a OL-DL who was about 6'3" or 6'4" and weighed about 370 and when this guy wanted to go somewhere (which wasn't often) there wasnt a thing anybody could do about it.

Man, I would pay some serious bucks to watch a scrimmage like that! I have never seen Riverdale play, but somebody needs to contact some coaches to get a scrimmage setup. It would look like a real game with all the people who would show up!!!If I would predict a score but that would be pretty stupid now wouldn't it...

Though Riverdale is and has been a very dominting team, they only have win 44% (4/9) in title games. Thats not a bad thing either, because any time you make 9 championship games, your pretty good. All i am saying is they will be good but they are not a lock for the gold ball just yet. Do your homework before you run off at the mouth, LBC...

Who will be the top performers this year? My two are two senior RB who had a very prolific junior campaigns, who combined had close to 5 MILES in rushing yards, "Tricky" Ricky Ladd and Gaston "Da Cheese" Miller. (made those nicknames up myself)

who has top-of-the-line facilities across the state? I encourage you to post links to your hometowns game field and other buildings for people who have never been there. White house has a very impressive weight room and game field, which seats over 7,000(which isnt enough most of the time) WHHS Facilities

i'm kidding, of course.

before every game i always give all my teammates some knucks' and i always get by best friend on the team to punch me in my stomach. then i go to sleep, wake up, get taped up, put my stuff on, ride to field on the bus, listen to the same mudvayne song, and when i get to the field, i get slap myself around a little bit.
