Your right Scottie, that was probably one of the biggest wins in school history. The 19-14 win against CPA in 2001 rivals it, and if C-Wood had held on at Mt. Pleasant in the 2nd round this year for a win it would be in consideration for the best game ever.

thumb Collinwood played some great football last night, but they still had some stupid penalties and blown scoring oppurtunities. If take away Loretto's punt return for a td (thanks to an unflagged clip) the score should have been at least 30-0. thumb

thumb C-Wood might have lost to Friendship Christian last night 14-0, But they played really tough football. Bottom line is they are going to give it their all against MP and tame these tigers. thumb

thumb This Friday's matchup should be a good between C-wood and Loretto. Both teams lost tough opening games. The Trojans are defiently going to be looking for some revenge from last year, when they were beat by less than a td. It will surely be worth the drive to neighboring Lawrence County to see this one. thumb

thumb I have to give props on this one "junglefever" one of the greatest games in Collinwood history came in the second round of the playoffs in 2001 against CPA as well. Collinwood was down 14-7 midway through the fourth with some of the fans starting to leave the Trojans Nick Andrews caught a td pass, but a failed two-point conversion left the score 14-13. With more fans leaving the Trojans finally got the ball back with a 1:46 left in the game on our own 12 and no timeouts. With 4 seconds left Nick Retherford caught the final td pass to make it C-wood 19 Cpa 14. It's always good to see a public school beat a private team. thumb

What is the toughest region in 1a this year? Region 5 has had probably the best the past 4 or 5 years. This year I think it goes to Region 6. With 1a powerhouses like C-wood who have painfully waited on the ABC schools to finally leave it will give them and the rest of the teams in the region added motivation to make it to the playoffs and finally an equal shot at the state title. thumb

Collinwood i would say has one of the best field house lockerooms around. Their field and stadium is probably the best among all 1a schools. Head Coach Michael Statom has treated the football as though it was one of his own kids. thumb

thumb Just stating the facts dude. Why would you mention a team that has already beat yours this year? Espicially when everyone on this page is trying to brag about the rebels. So Collinwood has been thought of by the rebels and the trojans can sling all the shots they want. thumb
