Luke Landers from CPA. SO much fun to watch!! Best player on the team (class of 2005), but probably didn't get the props he deserved. Played one year at Samford, then hung up his cleats.

Lowery does it all by himself. He throws it and then runs under it for the catch. Sometimes he just runs with it. The rest of the team is just props. By the way, how big's ya'lls lion? We'll need food for ours when we bring it down this week. Round up some deer meat, please.

When your opponent turns the ball over on their first possession, and your team scores on their very first play, and you're up 19-0 in the first quarter it's hard to get pumped about the game. CPA didn't play their best last night. We're going to have to get down to business now. I'm sure the coach will preach FOCUS this week.

Maybe she believes, like I do, that DCA beats Camden before GP has a shot.

Don't really believe it's an upset, but DCA takes down Camden by 10 points.

The field was a mud hole Friday night from all the rain we've had. IF Camden loses (not the IF), CPA will host DCA a week from Friday. It's tough to have a nice field under the weather conditions and games we've had. Just ask the Titans.

CPA runs a two platoon system. There'll be an occasional use of a player both ways.

5-2A sweep.

It was 1999, and Goodpasture won state in 2A.

So this means CPA will even up the rivalry tomorrow night.

One final "seasons from the past" comment...CPA beat Goodpasture in the regular season when CPA was 1A and Goodpasture 2A, and Goodpasture went on to win the state in 2A that same year. Not sure what year, but it might have been 2001. Welcome to The Den Friday!!

I haven't seen any bravado from CPA people. We know this is the game of the year thus far. There is total respect for the state runner-up from last year. Can't wait for Friday!!

This game's attendance will probably surpass any previous game's attendance at CPA. Get there early unless you want to take a little hike. Good luck, Lions!

Come back, Shane, Shane come back! (or Onthehop). Don't take yourself too seriously. There's nothing wrong in supporting your team and getting excited about an upcoming game. These are the best of times for these athletes most of whom won't play another down after high school. Don't eat crow either. Your team is in the playoffs. CPA didn't make it last year, and the 55-53 loss to Ezell was the difference. So close! You never know what can happen. Regroup and get out there knocking some 6-2A heads!! You all have great facilities, by the way. Great view of the field from the hill.

Close. I believe there are 8 assistants, two being former Titans and various others having played at Vanderbilt, Florida State, etc. Like I said before...loaded.

If the Titans, at their best, were playing Thursday night, and they let me be on the sidelines and call some plays I'd STILL rather be at the CPA-Fairview game.

Fairview and CPA have scored similarly against district opponents. CPA hasn't faced Goodpasture yet, but the difference Thursday night will be the coaching. No disrespect to Fairview's coach, but CPA is LOADED in that area.

I don't believe it will be a blow out, but CPA wins...by 10.
