Well Waverly beat Rossview and Warren Co. today at the MTSCA tourney... Looks like Waverly may be better than people expected!

Waverly beat Camden 5 to 1... So I hear. Today Waverly as well as some others will be playing in the MTSCA tourney in Clarksville.

I'm looking forward to the MTSCA tourney as well, Waverly will be playing. Will be the first games of the season for me, to watch.

Well ok... lol I am so sorry! I shouldn't be bragging this early in the season and Waverly sweeping Cheatham Co. is in no way worthy of bragging.

I'm bragging because so far they are undefeated and are looking pretty solid.

Waverly beat Houston Co tonight 13 to 1. Way to go Tigers!

Well Waverly won tonight. They beat up on McEwin with a score of 11 to 4. Waverly also beat Bruceton last night 3 to 1 I think.. I hear the Tigers are having some good bats this year, so far anyways. Houston Co. tomorrow good luck Tiger Baseball!

Well from everything I have read, congrats Waverly and sounds like y'all played a very good game! I suppose I will try to make it to Cheatham Co. Friday night and watch some ball. I know Humphreys Co. folks are happy, no school till Tuesday! I hope this doesn't "mess with" the players and what not..

DrLove, if you can keep Craig there coaching you will have a good program. He is a coach that gets all out of his players. He can take might near any team and make them competitive. He has the ability to produce good ball teams year in and year out. Congrats to Waverly tonight!! Big Win!

Well, WhateverItTakes07 I like how you throw in Waverly numbers, players that were supposedly cursing.. Yet Papatiger was asking HenHawk.. I dont agree with cursing, but if you think you should "call out" Waverly numbers, then I would think you heard some SC players?... Also whats the deal with the ball being thrown? I was not at the game but from what 15 NWTF 08 says I think something happened. I dont understand why a player would do that, not saying one wouldn't by any means. P.S. Dang it Waverly Lost!!

Well I didnt make it to the game... Wish I could have! Though I hate Waverly lost, but do like what I have heard! Sounds like Waverly suprised some people. I'm glad to hear it. I was there the first time Waverly played harpeth and it wasnt pretty. So I do like hearing what happened tonight!

I really don't see what Concerned22 said that is so bad. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but I'm not seeing it as some of you are I guess. I mean he mentioned a "rumor" I have heard the same thing said, I mean he pointed out it was a rumor. As far as screen names, we all are hiding behind them, though anyone from Waverly knows who I am. I don't know, I'm just not seeing it as such a big deal. Anyways is coach McCloud a permanent assistant coach, I know last year coach Graves was helping out, now he is the freshman coach.

He seems to strait up Love the game and he works his butt off to prove it. I do think the Tigers will improve a lot over the next year or two, as mentioned there are no seniors on the team. Now, I would hate to even give an opinion on the coaching, seems like thats a very touchy topic. I mean this is a place where you should be able to come and give an opinion, in the proper manner of course, and not get hammered by everyone and there brother. I once had a teacher in contemporary issues, we had different opinions about stuff but seemed to get along. How about we try that here guys?..

Well Sycamore plays Waverly tonight in Waverly. Hopefully we will see a good game.

Well even 3 or 4 years ago it was rocking... The year Waverly played Bolivar in sub-state and year before that it was pretty wild.

This may be at bit off, but the weather is looking really bad for tonight's games! I don't know who all is playing, I'm at Waverly. Still have a about a hour before game time, but its looking somewhat bad out and the tv is showing some really bad stuff going on in West TN. Hope everyone is safe traveling. I think if the Waverly girls play a Full game and play Well they will be the Better team tonight.

Waverly beat Cheatham Co. 50-36. Fri Jan 4th.

I was a plus member a while back and ended up letting it run out. Yesterday after reading about this all I renewed my membership. I am now out of high school, use to post a lot then. Well, the games was not very good at all. I guess its good to get the ugly ones out early in the season. I will echo wreaking havoc, its not a region game thats good, also there NEEDS to be upper class men STEP UP. I really feel like there is a leadership problem in the upper class men. Not saying there isn't any, anyone can be a leader, it is a choice, Grab the boot straps and go!

Well I was at the Cheatham Co. and Waverly scrimmage.. There is definite improvement needed. With that said I am looking forward to the scrimmage this Friday. Although there is nothing like the real Friday night games and Wayne Co. will be first.
