KnoxSoddyBoy, I'm not sure what game you were at. The Blount touchdown DID NOT come against your second team D and Lucas Wall did not get hurt. Go ahead and bask in the victory--you all deserve it--but don't exagerate your trash talk. Govman, you are correct. I went back and wtched the tape and that was our starting defense. I take it back and I'm sorry. Now, LATE LATE into he 4th YOUR QB went down and it took him a few minutes to get up. Once he got up, he limped around the field for the rest of the game. I also WATCHED him limp off the field at the end. Bottom line, you coach should have taken a knee or ran the ball. What was he trying to accomplish down by 23 with 2min left????

SD - 31 WB - 8

It was a good game. The Touchdown that WB got was off our 2nd string defense. Most of SD scores came from the run. We just pounded and pounded. I'm not sure how many passes but there wasn't many. I remember a few but for the most part, the run was strong. Coach Weathers is one smart man. I don’t think he has even gotten to page 2 of the play book. One thing that did concern me, the WB coach needs to have his head looked at. Open the second half with on side kick? Which Soddy recovered and took the momentum of the game. 2 minutes to go and you keep calling timeout? Under 2 minutes to go and you leave your starting QB in? The starting QB got hurt. There was no need for that. They were beat. Period.

I hope it's McMinn. Please don't take this the wrong way but the Ooltewah people seem to think that they cannot be beat. Wasn't Ooltewah like 3-7 last year?

Soddy Daisy goes to William Blount this week and it should be a good game. William Blount has won the past two years but Soddy Daisy has kept it close. My pick - Soddy Daisy I think William Blount may be down a little this year and it's going to be hard to stop Soddy's running game. Your Thoughts?

I was at the Red Bank/Soddy game last night and 3 or 4 times through out the game "groups" of Red Bank students came over to the Soddy side and were flipping birds to the entire stands. What class they have their.... thumb

You guys are nuts. I agree that Soddy AND Red Bank didn't play very well in the 1st half. But lets give credit where credit is due, Soddy flat out beat Red Bank at all positions in the 2nd half. I thought both teams looked rough but it's only game 1 and 2. Lets give the coaches some time to make a few changes before we start using the word "terrible". Yes I was there and yes I saw the streaker and no it wasn't me. Looking forward to the rest of the year... Jeremy
