No, Adrian Donald from Humboldt isn't going anywhere...he was over at Liberty one day w/ his dad for his dad's t-shirt business...he is in Humboldt to stay and is greatly improved...if that was even possible...after putting up 30 td's last year and 1600 yards, he's gotten stronger, put on lbs, gotten faster, and probably most importantly...he's matured and hasn't gotten the big head, which is easy to do w/ all the hype given to West Tn football...Humboldt may have lost a lot of starters, but ppl forget how deep they were last year...ppl will step in and produce immediately...Oh, and just something to think abt...if Donald put up the numbers he did last year w/ everyone knowin he was gettin the ball and absolutely no passing game present due to the injured qb, what will he do this year when teams have to respect the passing game and not put 9 or even 10 in the box...Just an observation from a fan of high school football

How about NFL Pro-Bowler Doug Atkins from Humboldt High School...Went to UT for track, basketball, and football...played with numerous teams in the NFL in like the late 50's early 60's.

Since their dissapointing homecoming loss to Union City in week 6, the Vikings have been playing good football...beating Milan friday night was a big test for this team, and they now get to host a dangerous team in Treadwell...can Humboldt keep this up or are they just playing above their heads right now?

With this being a rivalry, both teams should bring their best w/ them...Humboldt seems to have stepped it up towards the end of the season and have been playing good football...Milan is also a very good team this year but it seems that just like Humboldt...they don't show up sometimes...so, considering that both teams bring their A-game...and w/ senior running back and middle linebacker eric coleman seemingly out for this week's game, how will this game go?

Maybe 2A Player of the Week sophomore Adrian Donald of Humboldt...he's 5'7 175...fast as lightning and unlike most ppl think, hard to tackle...or touch for that matter. He had 230 yards on i think around 18 carries and 5 tds this past week

It's not as tough from top to bottom as it used to be...but take it back a couple of years...and region 7-2A w/ Humboldt, Trenton, Milan, Dresden, Union City, and Westview...back when Union City was a powerhouse, Milan was a powerhouse, and Westview w/ Rafael Hill was a powerhouse...Humboldt, Trenton, and Dresden were on the rise then....

Without question, Humboldt will be the suprising team this year...All ppl talked about be4 the start of the season was Chris Donald...They were talking about the wrong "Donald"...Adrian Donald will have 1500 yards this season if not more...in 2 games...he's had 6 td's and close to 400 yards rushing...They have another back in Justin Thomas who will also have a big season...mix in fullback Octavious Lawrence and a stellar defense...the Vikings will just have to avoid beating themselves this year, cuz I don't think anyone else will...One thing against the Vikings however, they've been playing 1-sided...5 combined passes in their first 2 games...so until their startin qb returns from injury, they will have to be better than just solid when it comes to running the ball. Dresden IS much improved and should have a great season...their running back is something else...

Going out on a limb to say Westview by 6 in an upset.

I went to the Bowden camp this past summer w/ a freshmen receiver from Alcoa...this guy was very fast, about 6'0 tall and good hands...i believe he was a mixed kid...never caught his name though...anybody know who he is?

Let's go w/ what's important...game speed...walker from milan seems to be a lot faster than everyone else on the field everytime he steps on it...a sophomore from humboldt by the name of adrian donald makes a habit of breaking long runs and leaving guys...and he MIGHT bench 200...its all speed and vision w/ him...so those are 2 guys to watch out for
