nah, just take it as Helton stinks and he will be an average high school QB and will not make it at the next level. Kind of like Shuler was average in college but couldnt make it in the NFL.

Halo?? That game is terrible...If you want to play a real game play NBA live 05, NCAA football 05, or Madden 05. Next year in NCAA 06 we will see Cade on UNC while Helton if he ever graduates will be creating himself on the game because along with Heath Shuler neither could step it up to the next level and play with the big boys.

I'm not even going to predict on the game because it is a waste of time. The best QB on the field?? Someone needs to tell Helton to stop watching game films of the great Micheal Vick because everytime Central comes to town it seems all he ever wants to do is scramble. He needs to be watching film on someone more of his caliber, like Clausen for UT. It seems they both have a nice ability to cost their team a victory because they try to make plays that they obviously can't make. All due to lack of ability. How muc can you talk about Maryville vs. Powell. There is nothing else more to say than that whether or not Maryville shows up or not they are still going to win. If they show up they will win by 40+ and if they don't show up it will be 28+.

I dont consider it getting testy...it just gets old when the only thing people can say about maryville's program is how they recruit players when many teams across the country do the same thing. Just look at schools like Oak hill (bball) the schools in CA that are so dominant, they actually go out and recruit. While Maryville just accepts students that are willing to pay tuition. There are kids that pay tuition just to go to school because of the Academics. So get over it and don't be mad because people want to win so they chose to pay tuition so they can go to a winning program. Like i said before...Alcoas does it, WB does it, and there are more out there that accept tuition students as well. Maryville will walk all over Powell.

To the morons that keep saying that maryville has people that pay to play, you guys have no clue. Maryville is not the only school that has players that pay tution. My roomate in college played football at Alcoa and he paid tuition because he was zoned to go to Heritage, and that is just one example of many. So get over it. Powell will lose by 4+ TD's just because they are already whining. I will say it again, Maryville will have no competition until they get to the finals.

The only reason Im going to give Rhea Co. any respect is because of Hammontree. Other than that Maryville will stomp on them and move on to the next round. When I say stomp I mean 5 TD's or more!!

Papa chaos I think you are taking high school football just a little too serious. A nice estimate of the score would have been nice. I mean come on, its Rhea Co. They aren't playing the Patriots. And for the Central guy, you must have a short memory because I'm pretty sure if I get beat like you did a few weeks ago, I wouldn't be running my mouth. We all know who your personnel is and they are terrible. The only way you will make it to play the Rebels and beat them is if you guys continue to make cheap shots after the play is over and hurt Maryville's top 20 players.

All those cheap shots just show how trashy Central's program is and also how they will not beat Maryville because they are worrying too much about getting in a cheap shot. But I believe that myself, rebelraider, and a whole lot of other people said that this game wouldnt even be close. Oh well, I will say it again...If Maryville plays Central again it will be the same outcome. Someone needs to tell Helton he is no Mike Vick and to stop the scrambling cause it isnt working. This game is not relevant at all. It is just another game for two below average teams to get out there and get win #2. I'd rather watch golf. But WB will win by 28!

Who cares about those stats and who does what. The Rebels will come together like the always do and shut down Helton with about 7 or 8 sacks, and while he's back there scrambling around Thompson will sit in the pocket and pick apart Central's defense. Then they shove it down Centrals throat with Tallent and Byner. Another reason to forget about that stats is how many plays has Thompson played in the 2nd half all year? If Quarles was the type of coach to run up the score then Cade's numbers would be much higher than Helton's.

Maryville could play a double header with Powell then West and they would still win both by more than 4 TD's. They will beat West by 5 or 6 though, Quarles is the man!

Maryville will win by 5 or 6 touchdowns. Everytime a team come around with a good record people start saying Maryville is going to have trouble. Well, they havent had any trouble yet and they wont until they get to game #15. The only way maryville will lose is if they have a breakdown like last year and turn it over 7 times.

why are we even still talking about this game? Who cares how big or who anybody has played. If you think about it, no one in East Tennessee plays any hard teams. Lets play some teams from Florida or Texas then we will see how weak all teams are around here. Maryville will still win tonight by 6 or 7 touchdowns.
