As much as I hate to say this, GO GOVS?!?! I would like to see three teams out of blount county move another step closer to the gold balls. I dont think all three will get there, but, anything can happen. "THATS WHY THEY PLAY THE GAMES" It will be a great game. Willy B can not shot them selfs in the foot. My prediction: Govs 28, Ads 21.

As much as I hate to say this...... Good job Govs from a Heritage supporter. I never would have guessed this. DB was looking ahead and WB came to play. Great job Willy B. Hey you gov fans that was giving coach M a hard time his frist year... Do you still want him gone???? Two years in the playoffs. I thought this was about Heritage and the Govs? The debate about wb and the Owls needs to go somewhere else. Back to the game, the bell sure would sound good going back to the Mountians, but I dont think it is going to happen this year. If Willy B gets ahead quickly the mountaineers will fold up. If WB turns it over or plays undisiplined, Heritage will make a game of it. So it is up to the Govs, look ahead and your in for a fight, or focus and it will be a blow out. Maryville should play up even if they dont heve enough students for 5A. They would be better games, and they would still be in the top of the state every year. Doesn't Alcoa play up? Arent they really a 1A school? I could be Wrong. In the playoff..... Maryville vs Riverdale...... vsRavenwood....vs DB.....vs ScienceHill....ect Man I would go watch those games.

Turnovers kill. Soddy was on the plus side this time. Heritage turns it over FOUR times. Three INTs, one fumble. All on heritage side of the field. When Soddy fumbled (twice I think) Heritage was never on the "recovery" side. Soddy you got your homecoming gift, you are welcome .

Any takers on this subject? I believe Heritage gets the bad taste out of ther mouths this week. After the last three weeks of games against Farragut, Maryville and Oak Ridge, I think the Mt. Men win 30-12. GO HERITAGE!!!!

Maryville is a machine. They do everything that needs to be done to win. Thanks to the past teams. They take the field every Friday night EXPECTED to win. Untill they lose a game or two that will not change. Maryville NEEDS to move to 5A and they will STILL be successfull!! They dont need to play out of state schools to find talented teams, they are right here in TN. Oak Ridge, DB, Riverdale, Germentown, ect... "To be the man, you have to beat the man" till that happens Maryville is the man.

The last few years Heritage has play well against FHS. Last year was an exception, the year before that was a one point win for FHS. HHS beat them two years ago. It should be a good game HHS 21 FHS 14.

Boy, Alcoa really needs to stop crying about the schedule. They put higher quality teams in place of WB & HHS, didn't they? Macallie or WB, Fulton or HHS? come on, looks like to me Alcoa got the better deal in it all. WB & HHS have both improved. Thanks to two outstanding coaches, Rewis & Meadows. The region is up for grabs (after OR & Owls) I am steping out to say the HHS will make the playoffs this year (the first in how many years?) It should be a showdown at all region games this year. HHS has a much better offense this year. Morgan is doing a great good throwing it around the field. Wiggy hasn't showed what he can do yet and he will, and the backfield is solid with Lindsay, Cains, Rupert,& Kerns. There "D" is also solid again this year. Coach Shane Rewis has them going all out again. It should be a great year for Blount Co. schools the talent in this county alone is top notch. Good luck to all the schools this year.

Heritage is so much better this year than last. The only team that will beat Heritage is Heritage. If they put together a near flawless game they will win by 4 touchdowns! Has Cambell Co. filled the shoes of that good running back? I remember that #24 from last year, he was everywhere on D. Heritage will have there hands full if they let them. Mountainerrs by 21

Congrats Heritage!! Cait is a player that comes around once in a great while. Everyone needs to come see her play before she goes on to UT. Coach Howard does a great job even before Cait was there. Good luck this year!! I know nothing but a gold ball will be good enough!!!
