If you can compare to the speed that hillwood has then your pretty fast. But seeing that, that isnt possible Fairview shouldnt have a problem due to keeping up with region 6's speed. Fairview kept up with hillwoods speed pretty well until the 4th quarter. Hillwood is a 10-0 team this year in 4A. They probably have the fastest players in the state on their team also. I meen thier quaterback and runningback are just straight out freakish its unbelievable. So dont use your speed to compare yourself to fairview. Your speed wont get you anywhere.

Lenoir City is 3A and richand is 2A its not possible to play them in the post season.

All gerry was saying is that to gain full respect is to go well into the playoffs. yes yall should be proud for winning a region championship but dont let it end there. Go all the way. Dont settle for just a region championship. Settle for a state title. Hillwood has my respect. Hillwood has a lot of peoples respect. Gerry wasnt bad mouthing hillwood.. He was just saying to get full respect you must do well in the playoffs. Its the truth. Fairviews been in the playoffs 4 years in a row and do they get much respect. No they dont. It wont be a sweep for region 6. Was it a sweep for Region 6 last year. No i think the 2 teams that it came down to in week 3 of playoffs was between a R5 and a R6 team.. Region 6 wont have it easy this year. But neither will Region 5. I think the 1st three weeks of playoffs games between these regions will be smack mouth football. Im ready to see what Fairview can do against other powerhouse teams.. they proved they can play this year winning the Region 5 championship last night. IT was a well played game between 2 really outstanding teams. 2 great running backs head to head. It all depended on how the defense of both teams played. Fairviews defense made 3 really big plays. 1st one was an 84 yard fumble return by fairvies DE. Second one was a stop on 4th down to turn the ball over with 3 min left in the 4th . and second was the last play cheatham had when Langley threw the ball up only to be intercepted for the 1st time this season by the safety. It was a good game for both offenses. So region 6 be ready to play the hardest football games youve had to play all year. Goodluck to both regions though for making it this far already and congrats to Fairview and Huntingdon for winning their Region Championships.

No one ever gives another team points unless the literally hand them the ball. Point is the kickoff for fairview smashed the return man for Cheatham every time he touched the ball. Fairview forced the fumble and recovered. If u ask me fairview earned their own points.

OK 1st off.. Fairview will have to enter this game with their heads in the right place. They know cheatham is going to be tough. Cheatham is playing on their senior night after losing to county rival Sycamore. Cheatham is going to be ready to play hard and get revenge from losing to Fairview last year. Fairview and Cheatham match up very well.. Both of these teams should go deep into the playoffs. One of them should have a good chance and possibly make it to 4th round if not farther. I know im always for fairview but im sorry guys im going to have to say cheatham comes out on top. i have 3 reason. 1. Their hungry for revenge after losing in an upset against Fairview last year. 2. They just lost to their county rival. 3. Its their senior night. Fairview has it tough this year. Theyve already played Loretto and lewis county on their senior nights. Lol fairview screwed up amillion times in that game the only time yall did something right was on ur 1st two scores the reason we didnt score was cuase of our lack of discipline we had to many penalties. not your gameplay. by the way if im not mistaken bobby rushed well over 100 yards against MC also. We came out sluggish on defense on their 1st couple of drives. Our defense lined up wrong which was our mistake. We took ourselves out of the play. Well we dont make mistakes anymore. and how long did it take cheatam to score 35 points on Waverly .. 4 quarters.. how long did it take fairview to score 35 points on waverly about 15 minutes. so if you want to go by facts there they are. Fairview 1st team was out of the game with 6 mins to go in the 2nd quarter. They got in there scored 42 points in about 18 min and then let the young guys have some fun.

Hey you can never pick a team by how bad they beat a team and how bad another team lost to them. Example. Adamsville got killed by Huntingdon,Adamsville beat Peabody,PEabody beat Milan, infavor u would pick huntingdon over milan cuz adamsvill ebeat a team that beat milan.. Well that wasnt the case milan came out and won. SO look at the facts football is football what was in the past was in the past anything can happen on a friday night.

Fairview has a real good team this year. They should be able to go deep in to the playoffs. Everyone believes Cheatam Co. will be the star of region 5 but its funny cuz they lost more athletes than we did this year, and well we beat them by 2 touchdowns last year. So for real is Fairview ever going to get any recognition.

i doubt that my friend. id have to say '91 and '92 were their best teams ever.

A little advice to Creekwood dont go in this game underestimating MC. We ( Fairview) did that and got our buts handed to us on their 1st couple of offensive series. So go in this game to play hard. MC is very beatable. Fairview should have crushed them but like i said we just werent prepared enough and our heads werent in the right state of mind. So Creekwood. Goodluck and MC goodluck too!
