I saw a thread earlier that said that alcoa would beat huntingdon, I almost cried laughing when i heard this( hundington is to physical for this team). Greenbrier another team that was slept on is very hungry and if fultons d-line is not prepared for a physical game up front, then it will be over by the third quarter. Melrose/Maryvile enough said, rebel fans have been bragging on their team all year about how their program was better that the orangemound boys, but not true at all. This team is already loaded with more talent than yours and you want to make them mad before the biggest game of their lives by saying that they are not disciplined, and not well coached and etc. Riverdale/Franklin I make a prediction that the warriors will put up 35 points before the half. This state championship will make the statement that I've said all a long THE EAST IS WEAK, THE BETTER TEAMS ARE IN THE WEST AND MIDDLE.

ON THOUGHTS OF THIS THIRD ROUND MATCHUP, IT WILL BE VERY HARD FOR THE BOBCATS TO COME IN AND BEAT THE HAWKS AT HOME. THEIR DEFENSE IS PLAYING VERY WELL AND THE TEAM IS EMOTIONALLY HIGH BEING THIS IS THEIR FIRST YEAR IN THE QUARTER FINALS SINCE 2000. IT MIGHT SOUND LIKE AN EARLY PREDICTION, BUT THIS HAWK TEAM SOUNDS A LOT LIKE THE CROCKETT COUNTY TEAM IN 2001(STATE-RUNNER-UP) THAT HAD A VERY SOLID DEFENSE AND A GOOD ENOUGH OFFENSE TO PLAY FIFTEEN GAMES. Now that both teams have rid of two region 5 teams. I think that this will be the best round two matchup in 3a. I think that the cavaliers will pull off a close one. and beat the hawks by a field goal. cavs 7 0 3 3 - 13 hawks 7 0 3 0 - 10

If I remeber correctly, crockett county beat page the last two times they played so how do you figure that they had more than can handle. It was a close game but you still lost!. Crockett County doesn't need any motivation. If anybody than page does. And just because that we are on the road this year, doesnt make us the underdog. But enough about this just let the respectable ball clubs play and let the better team win.

To all fans of class 4a football hoping that their team will win the state title, I would like to tell you that there is no chance that any body in class 4a will beat the Melrose Golden Wildcats. No trash talk, just the facts. They have probably the best combination of skill, size, power, and team speed in the state. All this talk about maryville is very silly, they are in no way shape or form in the same league as this football program. As far as the neighborhood goes, the fans there are just like everybody elses, they really do get excited about their football team. You would to if you had the program they did. When we(Crockett County) went there to play in 1997 they were very loud, but generally nice people. I hate to say it but I think that everybody says that it is a rough place to play just because it is a prodominately African-American community. I apologize if anybody is affended by this post but it is just the plain facts. thumb

I really can't believe that the whole region5 3a is downing my beloved cavaliers. "Its probably because we have been giving them a couple of hard losses in the past" LoL Just because my fellas have lost two games this year, suddenly everybody thinks that they are not as good of football club as in the past. Granted they are young, but they wear the maroon and grey of crockett county and that means alot. Sleep on this team and Coach Pratt and company will be playing 15 games this year. AGAIN Can any team from region 5 3a say that

crockett mcnairy lexington southside Lexington will lose to Mcnairy or Southside and give the top spot back to Crockett County. This will only happen if the Cavaliers can hold off the hawks friday

Lexington did what they had to do to win in bringing their A game to Crockett County last week, but I don't think that they can do it twice in a row and beat Mcnairy. I think that Mcnairy's Physicalness will where down Lexington in the ball game if they pound it with the run game. And I also have a slight feeling that Lexington will also be a little over confident since they beat my beloved Cavaliers last week. Final Score Mcnairy 7 14 7 7- 35 Lexington 0 7 7 7- 21

Both teams are unbeaten but i think crockett county's speed will be to much for the bobcats in a blow out in region 6aaa play. thumb

Being a former Falcon i would have to pull for my team but dont think of the game being a bowout because both teams will be ready and AE always comes to play. Fulton 21 AE 17 They better stop my boy Fine because if they dont its going to be a long night and a lot of mad AE fans.
