  1. /facepalm No. Hence why it says NO ONE was arguing that Camden should have won. Jeez, does anyone know how to read anymore?
  2. Sure, but no one was arguing that Camden should have won.
  3. Sounds a lot like more footbullets tonight. Good game, good luck to Fairview.
  4. Nobody said that. Check your reading comprehension. If anything I would be glad knowing they didn't show their best, because if turnovers and untimely penalties are going to the be the norm this season, they're not going to win a lot of football games. I suspect you have that know it all complex that most new CoachT posters tend to have. I'd advise that you lurk more before posting as to not sound like a jackass.
  5. Riiiight, so what you're saying is Camden has a good team? Because that's what I was saying too...
  6. Funny, Camden loses a tight one late to a pretty good football team and now everyone is counting them out. Its not like they got ran out of town by South Gibson's Junior High...
  7. Well, with Worley named QB, Moore should be very busy.
  8. Oh yay the east tennessee posters are here already /yawn
  9. You may be onto something there. Although I have it from a good source that Milan's ladies have the demeanor, if not the resemblance, of the MHS mascot.
  10. I think we have good coaches. And the boys play hard for them so that says a lot I think. Man, I'm ready for kickoff!!
  11. Chasing the dollar. All I want to do is move back to Tennessee but the opportunities keep coming from a little further north. Camden will come along, in my opinion, when they ditch the wing T offense and move into the present. They have had some pretty good players go through and I hate it that they were running that archaic offense. I'd like to see more of a pro-I and single back two tight style, but there's a reason those guys are on the sideline and I'm in the medical lab. I'd like to see more throwing and play action, and I'd like to see them take one of these big athletic guys we always seem to have and put him at tight end rather than tackle. Once again though, I haven't seen them at all yet for the upcoming season. And even if I had I don't really have a dog in the hunt. What's Milan got in store? Slow running backs and a passive defense?
  12. This is actually very true. The state is in an upswing in talent.
  13. You read his post, right? They went to Jackson instead of Milan.
  14. But, I don't think CC will make it past CPA to be honest.
  15. Well, first of all, congrats again to Milan on the win. I have always enjoyed banter with Milan fans, especially swingjuice, (people who get mad at swingjuice just don't understand proper internet behavior ) and one of these days we'll come out on top. This just wasn't our day. Going to games at Milan have been great, I love the field and atmosphere. In my opinion, Camden, Milan and Huntingdon are the best places in our area to go to see a game, especially when they play each other. Now, this is no disrespect to Cheatham County and you can go back to that gamethread to see my response after that game. But Camden was dominating that game until Tanner went out. They were moving the ball well and the defense wasn't getting beat on due to three and outs. No disrespect to CC but if they weren't getting the ball back after every three Camden offensive plays they might have still won but not by that 10 point margin. Camden killed themselves with turnovers but the game was still in doubt until a late touchdown by CC to put the game away. Anyone who knows football at all knows that an efficient offense makes a defense a lot better. CC did and will take advantage of mistakes. Long story short, if you punt the ball to them consecutively, they're gonna score. They can move it on the ground. Don't get caught in an ugly game pounding it at each other, CC can play that game. All that said, if the spread in this game was Milan @ Cheatham County (+14), I'd take Milan.
  16. Looks like Milan came to play and Camden didn't. Good job Dawgs, good luck the rest of the way.
  17. Good to see the banter is still alive and well! You know how why all the trees in Benton County point east? Because Waverly sucks and Milan blows!
  18. Now, now, don't be confusing our Camden livestock with your Milan wives again. Bring your special lady friend, though, I'll be floating teeth in the parking lot for 25 bucks a horse.
