From what I have read and heard, half of the tickets were sent to Humboldt to be sold on Monday. If all of the tickets are not sold, they will be returned to Giles County and sold at the door on Monday night.

And an 11 pt. victory is the same as a 1 pt. In the end you guys still lost and are still traveling to Bolivar to get your butts handed to you.

I agree Afan, for the most part. However, Tyler will win Mr. Basketball this year to put an exclamation point at the end to his amazing career at Giles County. Wait until Ricco goes up against Willie Kemp (the best PG in the state). Then lets compare those two young men. I'm not saying that Ricco isn't a good player, but Kemp plays against stiff competition every game...and look at what he has accomplished as a Junior. I have a hunch that Waverly fans may get their feelings hurt after Willie drags Ralston all over the court on Monday night. Kemp is the real deal as he showed last year as he led his team to the Gold Ball.

I think it is probably the one with the largets crowds. Of course the TSSAA would have to approve the advance ticket sales. I remember the GC vs. Bolivar game like it was yesterday. I also remember the heart breaking loss last year as does Tyler, Channing, & Zach. You can bet that Humboldt doesn't know what they are in for. Jackson Southside was able to handle the pressure last year and they got the win. If Humboldt doesn't do the same this year...it could get pretty crazy.

We all know that when recruiters look at potential D1 prospects they base their professional opinion on one ball game. That is the reason that Kansas, NC, TN, etc...are looking at Ricco Ralston. That region championship game really impressed them...everyone wants to sign Ricco now. Lets get real. Ricco is not averaging 26 pts. per game. Ricco is not nominated for Mr. Basketball. Ricco has not been nominated for his 3rd consecutive Mr. Basketball. Ricco doesn't have a State Championship ring on his finger. Ricco doesn't have a State Tournament MVP award. Oh...and the key point...Ricco doesn't have D1 coaches knocking on his door and calling him to come play for them. Everything that Ricco doesn't have...Tyler does. Now lets ask the question, Who's better? Tyler Smith or Ricco Ralston!

Honestly, I said that Giles would win by 25+. Had Tyler gotten his average...it could have been that. The game is over and done...both teams played well. Now it is time for Catfish to take his stupidity to another thread...wait a minute...I just followed up his post on another thread where he said he HOPED Waverly would beat Bolivar. He went on to predict the score and guess what...he had Bolivar winning by 18 pts. With fans like Catfish...you guys don't need an opposing cheering section. I can here his chants now... OMG...that has to be the biggest crock of garbage that I have ever read. You HOPE Waverly wins, but you put your predicted score at the bottom with Bolivar winning by 18. Last time I checked, in order to win a game you had to score more points. As for Waverly beating Giles 3 out of 4 times...you must be kidding!!! Tyler Smith scored 15 pts. He is averaging 26 points. Do you honestly think that Waverly could contain him at 3 more times, because you just lost the one game that you were giving us. So the way I see it...the series is @ 1-0. You make absolutely 100% no sense what so ever in any of your post.

Giles County wins 60 - 49. Coffey led Giles County with 17 pts. Tyler ended with 15. Ralston led Waverly with 17 or 18. All around, this was very well played ball game. Giles County seemed a bit flat tonight as did Waverly at times. Giles showed an all around scoring effort tonight with 4 players in double figures. Waverly will have their hands smack full with Bolivar as Giles County will with Humboldt. Giles County up by 7 at the half. Channing Coffey leads Giles County with 12 points and Ralston leads Waverly with 10 pts. This has been a see-saw battle through the first half. Giles had a little momentum going into half-time.

Giles County's two man show, as you guys are calling it, beats Waverly by 25+ tonight. You can be assured that Giles County will be at the top of their game as they were last night and if Waverly thinks that 49 points will get them the win...think again. This isn't Lewis County. There will be 4 guys on the court tonight as athletic as anyone on Waverly's team...including Ricco "Super Hero" Ralston.

Actually, Waverly & Giles County will be the only two teams moving on. Four teams do not move on...unless you are living in that special little world of your own. Waverly will be traveling to Bolivar while Giles County will be playing on their home court. I hope the bus ride home from Bolivar isn't too long after you get your butts beat off of the court.

How odd is it that South Gwinnett beat Oak Hill & Arlington Country Day, yet they lost in the State Semi-Finals and they dropped out of the Top 25. These rankings are garbage and mean nothing. What does that say about Oak Hill, who were beaten by South Gwinnett who was beaten by an unranked team.

Giles is demolishing everyone in their district and region as they have done the last 3 years. What has Harpeth done...nothing. They had the Great White Hope...Shane Dansby last year and they still couldn't stop Giles County. Waverly wins this one if Giles County doesn't make it to Franklin tomorrow night...that is the only way. After the way Giles finished Cheatham County off and the way they man handled Harpeth...Waverly is no contest. Giles wins by 25+. To me, it will only be a stunner if Giles County doesn't win by this much. They are clicking at the right time.

OMG...Tyler and Channing are dunking on everyone in Franklin tonight. Just think, tomorrow night Ricco will be on the receiving end of those dunks.
