First of all Dyer is playing fullback and getting the ball alot and he also punts, so before you state something make sure you know what you are talking about, Brewer just did not want to play anymore due to running with the "wrong crowds" if you know what that means, and Bubba Johnson is playing, and Harvey is not playing because he failed two classes and was ineligible......So as I see it Bubba will play in college somewhere and Dyer has an opportunity too...so from my point of view they are getting seen much more at Central than they ever would at Halls and they are on a winning team......oh yeah and Sean Atkins was nevered mentioned by you, but just so you know he starts at Central and is having a good year......so after me writing this I think your questions are pretty well answered..... Halls football is nothing like it used to be and I do not think the good players are going to play for a school that they know is not going anywhere or getting any better.....

How bout Maryville's secondary, heard it's not very good and as for Central's receivers hard to handle........central will also only get better......nobody in Knoxville could beat McCallie

Central and McCallie was a great game.....two great teams and both proving how great they are......it was a close game for four quarters.......Good luck McCallie......and after last night watch out Knoxville because Central football is on its way....Maryville better be ready because this team can play!!

I do agree with you about the politics things its ridiculous thats why i said the wrong people are winning.....i was not trying to hate on coalfields player but if he is so good and could play in college the smartest thing for him to do would have been play in a better division so he has some showing to back him up....but as for politics that is the way of the world and it stinks for everybody who is in it.

FIRST of all CyJacket while I was reading that I was laughing because you said best team in 1-A.....NOT 4-A BUDDY YOU ARE IN 1-A CENTRAL WOULD WALK ALL OVER COALFIELD SECOND, David Gaston is not only a RB is also returns kickoffs, returns punts, oh and while Coalfield is standing around he is busy playing FREE SAFETY. I think 400 yards with 5 touchdowns with 2 kick returns could definitely not be touched in Coalfield

...PREPEXTRA PLAYER OF THE WEEK is a big joke....tell me this you have approximately 400 yards (David Gaston of Central) and get beat out by someone from Coalfield with approximately 200.....tell me something who does Coalfield play...... its ridiculous this does not award anything to the best players....it is so sad these days politics is how everything is ran and chosen and noone is chosen by pure talent

Bud.....I do not think it is a question if Central is overlooking McCallie, b/c I think this is a game that will give them a chance to face a big team and improve them...they have to play people out of the area b/c not many teams will play them unless they have to.....

I do agree with Newman...parents are getting to caught up in where their kids are playing and who they are playing for....this is not what high school ball is supposed to be about.....that is what college is for......it is getting ridiculous This is to PLATO....there is a difference in getting a scholarship (i.e. to a school that is on probation and cannot get big recruits to come there) to a D-1 school and actually getting to see the field!!!!!
