  1. Harper may be the best "athlete" of the two but Moore is far and away the better "football player". I'll take the football player. Westview wins by 2+ tds. Go Chargers!!
  2. He wasnt the best athlete the first time these two teams played and I doubt he will be this time. If not for one run, he barely has over 100 yds of Total offenese. Harper is an excellent player but IMO he's facing the Reigon MVP in Harrison Moore Friday night. As far as the stadium goes.....Westview has played at UTM for so long I think everyone (except Coach Coady) is afraid of change. I think you'll see WHS have it's own stadium very soon though
  3. They moved him to linebacker his second week on campus after "promising" him he would stay at safety. That was the whole reason he didnt come to UT.......at least they were honest with him. Golden Tate was good but he wasnt even top 5 imho. 1. Chris Donald 2. Alex Watkins 3. Chris Walker 4. Dennis Rogan 5. Harrison Smith
  4. Considering what he's done to most everyone else, yeah Id say that was shutting him down. He had one score right? I think the final was 42-13?
  5. I dont know stats, but he was shutdown
  6. 30-13 Westview /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. I disagree as well. Milan drove the ball on us all night and if not for big plays, we're not even in it. There have been two teams run on us at will this year, the two teams I mentioned in my previous post.
  8. No excuses here, we got out coached and out played. This is the first time Ive seen Milan this year and they looked very good. This is the 10th time Ive seen Westview, and let me say that this and the Camden game compare pretty equally. Westview, imho, was over-confident and thought they had this game won when they walked on the field. The Westview team I watched in the other 8 games would have dominated last night, unfortunately though, the team that played Camden showed up instead. Either way if each take care of business, they'll prob meet again. Good Luck the rest of the way 'Dawgs.
  9. Hampton, along with 5 or 6 other players changed jerseys at halftime because they were absolutely soaking wet. I cant remember what the reason was but either it had rained all week or it was really humid that night or what. Fot it being a trick, no it wasnt. If he changed at the half I doubt it would have taken them until .9 seconds to go in the game to figure out what number he was wearing. The only trick was him lining up at fullback and not halfback. We put in a screen to the fullback just for that week because Milan's linebackers had been blitzing and flying to the tailback on film. We figured theyd key on Nick and it would be a successful play. We ran it a few times early and gained good yardage. Coach Coady new a hail marry wasnt going to cut it since we were on our own 35yd line. He took our newest play and put the ball in our best players hand.....and he delivered. There were a few great blocks also but it was all Nick. Go Chargers.
  10. No it was 97, when all the players listed played. Your record may not have reflected it, but you guys were loaded with athletes.
  11. Yep Sanders is who I was thinking of. I knew Kidd wore #1. You guys were loaded that year but luckily we had the best player on any field when we left the locker room. Nick Hampton was the best football player Ive ever been around and I know 3 or 4 that are playing on Sundays now.
  12. I'll never forget the game in '97. You guys have the lead when Nick Hampton lines up a fullback and takes a screen pass 65 yards to paydirt as time expires. We had some great games back then. I believe that year you had Roberson (26) at runninback (I think he had a younger brother that was a WR). There was also another kid that played safety and tailback....his # was 34 but cant remember his name, someone educate me. Also your QB #10 was a heck of a player. I remember he got really sick and was in the hospital for some time. How's he now?
  13. Punisher.....what year did you graduate?
  14. It's not his fault, Justin was standing in front of him and he had to walk between his legs to try and make the tackle /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  15. This game could go either way, dont get me wrong........but if you think a coach would save a "whole arsenal" of plays until week 10 you dont know a whole lot about football. Now he may ADD a few wrinkles for a game of this magnitude, but I doubt you'll see them go from running a spread to a wing T
