To all the Wildcat players, managers and water girls: Ya'll have no reason to hang your heads. You had an awesome year! There are only 4 teams in the state that wouldn't want to swap seasons with you guys! You beat Riverdale for the first time in school history, you went farther than any Dub-C team and only a handful of Wilson County ever have and you made it to the GREAT 8!!! Thank everyone of you for your hard work and dedication. You made history and I for one will never forget this bunch! It was an honor to get to know you folks and to be a small part of ya'lls great year! Thank you for the great season. You guys are a special bunch of people. Good luck in all you do in life! May God bless everyone of you!!!

I don't know for sure about LHS but Dub-C nominated several kids. And not one made it. No knock to any player on the team, but some Wildcats deserved to be on that team.

No players from Wilson Central or Lebanon were selected to play.

Cat you know as well as I that you guys are the defending state champs, finished higher than WC in the region and beat WC head to head. You guys are the clear favorites. Ray Charles could see that if he was living! Yes folks are jumping on WC's bandwagon. It wouldn't matter who beat Riverdale, folks would be jumping on their coat tails. You guys are the champs. Ya'll have been there, done that. You have a great program and team. You guys are certainly no 2 man show. Ya'll have a great TEAM! Always do. It will take Dub-C's best game of the year to even have a chance against you guys. Folks that really know ball, like 2p, know what kind of team ya'll have and what kind of task Dub-C has in front of them. Without a doubt you guys are the favorites and deserve to be!

To all the players, coaches and fans of the Warriors, I would like to say ya'll have a heck of program and team with some real class players and coaches. You guys had a heck of a year and will be right back in the thick of things next year. You Seniors were a class bunch and have no reason to hang your heads. New Age Outlaw you know nothing about coaching. It's not always the x's and o's. Often it's the Tommy's and Joe's. I played football 26 years, coached for 12. I've been a 14-0 National Champion and I've been on a 2-8 team. My point is I have been around hundreds of coaches in my football life and Elrod is without a doubt one of the best coaches and men I have ever been around. It doesn't matter what you think. He is without a doubt a guru and has forgot more ball than you have ever known sir. You want to call folks out and hide behind a screen name. You through his name around. What's yours? He is an awesome coach and an even better dude. So do us all a favor and lay off Elrod. Please! I'm asking not telling.

Good to hear they have a good coach. I'm an old Stang with kin folks still on the team. And Rome wasn't built in a day. We were 2-8 in '89, Coach Toner's first year and 9-2 the next. Every coach has a transition year or two.

I know their record was bad, but were they improved? Do they look like they are headed in the right direction?

I still have love for the Blue Devils and Coach Brown. Always will. But I'm a Wildcat now! This should be an awesome game and it's huge for both teams. The Bulldogs are loaded as always. Good luck to both teams and go Dub-C!!!!!!
