  1. Wouldn't you like to know reb ron. It's more like worship your favorite team. I can understand supporting a local football team, but you boys take it completely to another level. This is a stupid football board where every now and then people will take shots at your program, relax and take it with a grain of salt. Your boy rebelfanatic is the one who called us out. I never would have even posted if it wasn't for him starting this thread. Keep talking smack, I enjoy reading the wooly ones posts.
  2. I find it rather comical to see all the maryville schleps coming out of the wood work to defend their beloved rebels. Young punks, middle aged never coulds, and old school geriatrics having nothing else better to do than to get on here and worship their alma mater. I get a kick out of tormenting your poor souls and reading your rediculous responses. Keep them coming, this is quite entertaining. Oh, and by the way papa chaos, you need to lay off the hippie medicine if you really think me and newman are one and the same. The only person disallusioned seems to be you.
  3. Lock'em all! Like myself, I'm sure their are others who are tired of all the Maryville rhetoric on this website. Can't wait to see all the bellyaching and excuse making posts next week after the loss. Let's hope to goodness it does not rain Friday
  4. Thanks for the compliment rebelnation, obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. I think we are both logged in now. What punk & clown.
  5. Your'e right newman, somebody out at Halls is getting raked thru the coals due to your comments. These sheep have no clue who you are. All I can say is maryville better strap it on tight this week, because they getting ready to get hit in the mouth
  6. Believe it or not, Halls was short handed the West and Carter game but managed to get it done. Their starting fullback and strong safety are both out with knee injuries. This team has overcame a bunch of adversity this year and still managed to pull it together to make the playoffs. To me, that says alot about this teams character. Keep under estimating this teams ability, they tend to excel being the under dog
  7. If Maryville contains Helton and keeps him in the pocket then it should be a long night for the Bobcats. If not, Central will keep it close and might even pull out a win. It is a necesstiy for Maryville's d-line to stay in their rush lanes and get pressure, you have to keep #2 hymned in. This is a big order, because nobody has accomplised it yet. Central has no patience, make them drive the football. So many times they get impatient and try to big play you. I hate to say it, but Maryville is the more disciplined of the two defensively, they will play their assignments until you make a mistake. They don't take as many chances as Central does. My thoughts might be similar to other posters, but I don't feel like reading nineteen pages. Who wins? Who cares!
  8. I guess you would rather have them at Central huh? No thanks, it's refreshing to see some other teams get some pub.
  9. You got that right bigcatt, Powell does have problems in the secondary. It will be easy pickens for Maryville, especially if Powell starts a freshman at FS. Bombs away! Maryville by 17.
  10. Holy crap dmoyers! Five hundred and sixty-six posts within a month. Yeah it's pretty obvious your time is well spent at work. On top of that, you have nothing constructive to add to any of the threads. You simply like to hear yourself spout off. Do us all a favor and get back to work you schlep. thumb
  11. Don't you mean jock sniffers assoc. ?
  12. You know better than that reddevilfever, there are a select few in that community who has the guts to step up and say anything. Why do that, when you can get a chicken crap petiton for all the unhappy parents and community members to sign.
  13. If I had to guess FIL, I bet you are a digruntled player or parent. After examining your posts, I would say a player. These are lean times for the football program and there is nothing you or the half minded community can do about it. There is no doubt there is a shortage of athletes at this time, but these things run in cycles. Sounds like the gene pool out there is running low. How does the old cliche go? You can't make chicken salad out of chick #*!@. All the kids can do is keep playing hard and good things will happen, I promise!!! Halls will win four out of their next five, mark it down.
  14. How ironic FIL, I heard from a friend's mother whose brother knows a guy at the gas station who knows my uncle who met this guys cousin in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, and said that Halls will line up in no backs and throw it all over the field.
  15. The atmoshpere will never be the same at Carter field without the stinch of raw sewage in the air. Those were the good ole days.
  16. The addition of a few lb's is evident, looks like he has lost a step compared to last year. There is still no doubt the kid is a quality back.
  17. Don't be so gullable Mcfly, I promise you this is not my first time. Back to the topic at hand, Maryville slips by the Mountaineers....I mean slides by 20-17.
  18. Indeed oldreb, but do us all a favor and continue your conversation in the privacy of your own home, not within a public forum. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this thread was about the Maryville & Heritage game.
  19. I thought this was a football board, we could do without the personal chit chat. Thanks for your support.
  20. I hope Maryville practiced the wet ball drill this week, God forbid it might be a little damp out there. It gets a little monotonous reading twenty pages of excuses everyday on why they didn't execute. A win is a win is a win......take it and move on.
