I really dont see anderson county losing five games straight, but i didn't see them losing more than two at the beginning of the season. This one is a toss up. AC 22 SC 13 thumb

HOLD ON!! Wait just one minute. Why does it seem that no one is giving AE any credit? Yes, Scott County hung tough, played hard, and fought back. But what you fail to realize is, AE hung tough, played hard, fought back, and won. There is a point and time in everyone season where things go wrong and start to look bad. But only a championship team can overcome such poor execution and win. I give Scott County all credit that is due for competing with us, but it just wasn't enough. Even with all the fiasco the media and football fans will make about SC hanging with the Roadrunners, something good will come out of this for us. It shows us how much will we have to win. In any given situation. I'm glad SC tested us the way they did, so we know what we need to work on before it causes us a downfall. If you look back at the past couple of years, SC has always played us tough. What am I saying!!?? The fact of the matter is no matter the test, AE will step up and play, and win. SC tried, but not hard enough. Other teams have tried, but not hard enough. Six more will try, but it won't be hard enough. thumb

Lose their footing and be outdone? I guess you haven't seen A-E play then have you. Austin East totally dominates teams in every aspect of the game. A-E continues to pound the other team until Coach Stevens calls off the Roadrunner onslought. Listen this is directed to everyone who looks at this post. Austin-East will win region 2 and the State Championship game. Don't take me as being cocky, I know A-E has a target on their backs. A-E is the team to beat that won't be beaten.

You've got to be kidding. I hope you are not talking about Scott County. If you are, I think you forgot they still have to play A-E. Coming out of region 2 it will be: A-E, Kingston, Fulton, and Anderson County. Just like last year. thumb

You are right that was before I came to Austin-East. But regardless of that game, neither team won the State Championship, A-E did.

No respect for Austin-East again? Austin-East is the best team in the state hands down. With a 7-0 record and a total domination of teams played, it cannot be disputed.

welcome back, welcome back..........to me. No sorry to dissapoint you but i'm not Florida boy, in fact I hate the Gators. Any way I am starting to get the vibe that people think I am a bad person based on my post. That isn't true. I just speak what I believe and have total confidence in the coaches and my fellow players on this Roadrunner team. When I write my post, there is no disrespect intended to any of our opposing football teams, but my pride does show. There is no way that I could read other post talking badly about AE and not get upset and offended. I will without hesitation defend the reputation of my team not only on the field, but on any tv station, radio station, gas station, or internet website. LEONARDS LOSERS Anderson Co. The Fulton Falcons are back on track, although they are not the same team they were last year they have settled down. The Mavericks are licking their wounds after a loss at Kingston. Both teams are in a rebuilding year. Fulton by 12. Now dont get all excited about Fulton. Even though AC lost to Kingston, Kingston is a fairly decent team. I dont know if you heard about the Fulton game last Friday, but Fulton came out very lucky to beat Loudon at home on Friday night. It might be closer than you think, watch out Falcons dont keep your hopes up. AC 14 Fulton 12 thumb It will come down to the end of the game with Fulton failing the two point conversion.

well the game is over, finally. The true #1 team in the region is finall realized after that win and the loss by anderson county. Now I hope everyone in 3a stops doubting AE. I know they will with albert back. Now I can lok forward to Gibbs, on homecoming. This one should get ugly.

The #1 team in region 3a this year will be...................AE, HA HA. Who else were you expecting me to say, LC, AC, Fulton. Give me a break. Before those teams come out #1 on any poll, Austin East will have to be shut down. Now listen guys and gals I understand yall having school pride and all, but come on. Fulton already knows, LC will find out tomorrow, and AC will in two weeks...... AE is the team that wont be beaten. Did you get that, go back and read it again slowly if you didn't. It really bothers me that you all haven't figured it out by now. P.S. Whoever said in the LC vs. AE thread that Anderson County will go 5-5, should be slapped by E. Bishop's nose. Welcome back......to me. It now is the time to listen to an austin east football player. Junior 04. Fulton can't beat us, Lenoir City never beat us, and AC haven't beat us in two years. The fact is Austin East is the most dominant team in this region, we've always been. As I remember last year LC lost 40-6. As I see this year they will lose 40-7. Wow one point! That is all I have to say about LC. Now Fulton have already experieced AE, stats: 6 points, -21 yards rushing, and a loss. AC for some reason wins 8 games a year, it will happen again this year. They will finish the season 8-2, with an lost from austin east included.
