  1. Just throwin' out some names. Mostly from D2, and some of the really big recruits. Joseph Birdsong, OL, MBA LaMarcus Coker, RB, Antioch Michael Oher, OL, Briarcrest Christian Ayanga Okpokowuruk, TE/DE, McCallie Barry Turner, TE/DE, Brentwood Academy Patrick Turner, WR, Goodpasture
  2. Who would you nominate for an All-State team, regardless of disivion of size? I can't say that I follow D1 much, I'm more of a D2 guy, seeing as how thats where I play. But anyway...
  3. No question. #84, Ayanga Okpokowuruk, 6'3.5", 240, TE/DE, Senior.
  4. The worst field in Chattanooga is UTC.
  5. Check the stats then you will see why. I don't know if they are all D-2 players, I didn't take the time to check. If you really want to know go through and check for yourselves.
  6. Central is a good team, but I think I have to give Maryville the advantage in this one. The predicted score of 66-63 in 7 OT's might not be as far from reality as it would seem.
  7. I agree with Burr. I also believe that Tyner will win 2A this year.
  8. As of yet, I haven't formally selected an All-State team. This is a list of players, almost entirely DII-AAA, who I've had my eye on and have been impressed by: Joseph Birdsong, OT, MBA Joel Bradford, WR, McCallie Matt Bubis, DT, MBA B.J. Coleman, QB, McCallie Leonard Edwards, OL, MBA Joey Friend, DL, MUS Lee Hilt, WR, McCallie Bobby Huffaker, LB, McCallie Sempangi Jones, WR, McCallie J.D. Lawhorn, WR, MUS Ty Levie, DB, Baylor Donnie Malmo, DB, MUS Nick Marable, DB, Christian Brothers Jacques McLendon, DT, Baylor Nick Moore, DE, McCallie Tanner Moore, LB/P, McCallie Michael Oher, OT, Briarcrest Ayanga Okpokowuruk, DE, McCallie Chambliss Shillinglaw, DB, MBA Jake Simmons, OG/DT, Baylor Justin Sparks, K, Briarcrest Ben Tacker, K, MUS Barry Turner, TE, Bretwood Aca. Patrick Turner, WR, Goodpasture
  9. I like the idea of MBA playing Mississippi's South Panola.
  10. This year's Baylor team is better than they have been in the past. But they are still not as good as McCallie. They don't have the talent to pull out the win, but they are good enough that this game might be within a touchdown at the end
  11. Who wins? Why? Any other thoughts?
  12. McCallie's 0-line returns 5 starters, that's 3 more than 2. MBA's line is all about #74 Joseph Birdsong and no one else.
  13. A solid performance by McCallie's defense and enough big plays (about 3-5) by the offense are enough for the W. McCallie 17-15.
  14. The Battle of West Knoxville IS now between Catholic and Webb.
  15. You guys demonstrated exactly how much class you had at the McCallie game.
  16. Father Ryan has improved this season but MBA still wins easy. Any predictions for MBA's next game vs. McCallie. It should be exciting, McCallie 17-15
  17. MBA has talent. McCallie has passion. Predictions anyone? McCallie 17-15.
