Centennial has been "rebuilding" since Gregory took over as coach. He can not rebuild what he does not know how to!! PITIFUL!!!!

Look for BA to put this one away early!! Too much offense for a lackluster Cougar Defense. Too much inexperience for the Cougars on D and NO dominate players. The Cougar Offense on the other hand will prove more than potent against some of their weaker opponents, however this game is not one of them. Too predictable on offense and they do not possess a speed back that can just leave em'. When they can't run they won't throw! The only team I have seen like that around! Don't know which scrimmage this "Cowboy" was at but the Cougars had their way with Page. Bates taking every snap? Not even! Scott started and played a few plays then it all changed. They pulled all the starters up 13-0 and then emptied the bench. It was dissapointing to see the Patriots score on their second team though. I thought they would be deeper than that. As for the Patriots they looked pretty weak taking the last drive down to finally score on a bunch of 3rd team DB"s. However the QB for page looked excellent. he might have had a head missing if the Cougars had played the bates kid on defense. he seems to feast on upright runners like that. But he did show a good arm. Other than that game brentwood looked poor as franklin handed it to them and made them like it. Franklin was the best looking team at the scrimmage.....by far.......GO REBS!!

The above board indicates that you think they will score on every possession. Really?? I think not. This should be a much closer game assuming everybody is healthy on both sides. I understand the Cougs sat out one of their starting HB"S last week. Does anyone know his status. I believe his name is Tommy Buckman.

Centennial is for real, but Franklin is the real deal! We've played both teams and each one can give any team fits if they show up with their A game! If the Rebel team that played Lincoln Co. shows up the Cougars have a chance, but if the team that played Blackman shows up it will be along night for them(for anyone for that matter)! The rebs have alot of great players with speed at alot of positions! The kicker is probably in the top 3 in the state, he makes field position very one sided! You say in the above board that "we've played both of them". This to poses an extreme problem with your analysis since the two teams have not played ONE common opponent. Centennial has played 5 games against Warren County, Spring Hill, Page, Brentwood, and Father Ryan. Franklin on the other hand seems to have played six games. Against Lincoln County, Columbia, Henry Co., Blackman, Clarksville, and McGavock. Have you switched schools since the season started? If not how can this be that you have played both? Don't necessarily disagree with your prediction on the game, however just wondering how you were basing your prediction. franklin does seem extremely explosive, however they have not played a defense with the speed and depth of CENTENNIAL'S. It should be a good one Enjoy the games....

Yes the BATTLE OF FRANKLIN should be a good one. If the Cougars can hang on to the ball and control the clock as they like to they may pose a formidable foe to the visiting Rebels. While Centennial is much improved ( I would challenge someone to find someone more improved ) the Rebels are a very good team with excellent speed. As far as I am concerned this may be the best game around the mid-state this week...... Still have to favor the Rebels..

Father Ryan did have 2 interceptions. One was returned for a TD the other was insignificant, at the end of the half. Regardless they better be able to throw the ball this week or Franklin will send everybody to stop the run. Franklin is doing an awesome job of keeping people off balance with their offense. The cougar defense will face a tough challenge,(easily their toughest yet) as will the Rebel offense. I do not think the Rebels have played a defense with as much quickness/speed as Centennial has. Still have to favor the Rebels in this one.....

Has anyone seen this team enough to know if they are for real? Seems they are playing very tough agressive defense, and they have their moments on offense. It seems they may have difficulty if they are stopped on the ground, or are they "saving" it til needed. Any feedback would be appreciated....

Should be interesting this week. This should tell all. To see how much improved centennial is and just how powerful Franklin is. Brentwood, although winning, is looking terribly inconsistent and undisciplined. Just look at first half compared to 2nd half against Page. Centennial,although winning all but Brentwood, still is lacking that tough win to let them know they are "there." The performances of this team ( I have only seen 2), have been very solid on defense( ask Brentwood), and Page, which really has not displayed any offense so far. Franklin seems to be the most explosive of the bunch that has played the tougher schedule.(or so it seems at this point). It will be interesting how they perform against a very fast defense like their own Friday night. One week they run the next they pass so they have shown the ability to beat teams with whatever mode of attack is required. My prediction Franklin 35 ....Centennial 26 Brentwood should win (eliminate mistakes) walking away....

If rain/wet Brentwood 35-0 If dry (right) Brentwood 56-0 Not even a contest either way. Brentwood should be able to clear the bench in the first half if they choose to do so. Sorry, just the way I see it.
