wuzMP63 you have complained about the offense all season,but let me point out a few things for you, the last 3 weeks we have scored over 30 points on teams whose defense was giving up less than 10 points a game, including 32 on a tough Mckenzie, that is 5 TD's,count them 5, does it matter how you score as long as you score. We had one drive stopped after a pass was dropped that hit a reciever in the numbers, no knock on the kid he just simply dropped it. Hey I love Preston G, heck of a athlete, but just because a guy is 6-5, does'nt mean he is going to catch the ball every time you throw it up in his direction. if MP stops Mckenzie on the last go ahead possesion we more than likely win this game, that has nothing to do with our offense, as a matter of fact the best defense we have had the last couple of weeks as been ball control and time of possession. So please don't get on here and complain about a offense that averaged over 26 points a game on teams with a combined record of 33-3. The Tigers and coaching staff had a great season and we don't need a coach from the top row getting on here and telling them how to run the team, Just remember how many times we made it to the semi-finals before this coaching staff got here.

Did Marco catch that 66 yard TD pass? no, I believe it was Corlew who made the great play who also made great defensive td's in round 2 and 3, Other Tigers got carries and simply couldn't get the yardage needed to sustain a drive, We come up 3 points shy of advancing and you act like we got put out in the 2 round, Give Mckenzie some credit, they are a darn good team. It is no secret MP rides Dailey hard, he's one of the greatest ball carriers to come thru the state and he wants the ball, its a shame he cramped up when he did, he had 12-15 more carries last week and didn't have any trouble, it just one of those things that happens in football. MP put up enough points to win most games we just couldn't get a defensive stop when we needed it. It was as good of football game as you will ever see, I surely got my $ worth. Yes we are at home now, but there are hundreds of other teams throughout the state who have been playing basketball for 3 or 4 weeks who would have loved to been in a semi-final battle last night. Congrats to the Tigers on a great season.

Great post 4 ever fan, I'll bet anything the conversations on the field went 2 ways, we do have to do better controling our emotions, despite what I saw I would hardly say I lost any respect for C-Wood boys.

Great hard fought game by two good teams, there was a lot of emotion at the start of the game and lead to some stupid penelties, I still haven't figured out the personal foul call on the QB, but a lot of the the MP crowd around me thought C-Wood got a few bad calls also so I guess that was a wash, I thought before tonight WC would beat C-Wood, I am starting to have second thoughts, that game will be a war. No need for anybody to get on here and bad mouth, both teams played a heck of a game, we may see this match-up again in the playoffs. Great job Tigers.

MP got the ball at the 50 after the onside kick, there was 26 seconds to go in the half and MP had 2 timeouts, first play was incomplete pass(clock stopped) next play is 45 yard pass to the 5 and a timeout with 5 seconds to go, next play TD, plenty of time for those 3 plays. Good effort from WC. Tigers looked exceptional in second half, great job Tigers. I think the clock was fine just not to sure about the guy trying to run it, heard that was the 3 clock he has messed up this year?

LC has a great team and will do well this year and I wish them the best of luck, there are some great kids on that team. But I can tell you for a FACT Marco's yards last year were not piled up in the second half against powder puffs. Zion, he carried it 3 times in the 1st quarter and never touched it again. Wayne Co., 250+ in the 1 st half, he never carried it in the second half. Similiar stats for Corn., Perry, and I believe he was 200+ in 1st half against CA. He was 200+ against good playoff teams including Jo Byrns and C-wood over the course of a whole game, So please don't get on here talking about something your not sure about. I am thru with this topic, we have another game to get ready for. I thought 200+ yards of total offense was good against what I would consider one of the best 2A defenses in the state. 1st team, Was you listening to the same game I was, I heard them say MP had a good oppurtunity but that the defender made a good play from behind to knock the ball out, they also spoke well of what a good team LC was. This is not College football, I would expect anybody to be a little partial to their own team. LC has a good team, they will do well this year. MP will recover from this, they will be glad they played this game a couple of months from now, I doubt they will meet as big and physical team as LC in 1a from here on out. And lastly if you don't like the broadcast, reach down and turn the knob, I'm pretty sure they won't miss you.

I will say that the vast majority of JCS fans were very nice and respectful, there was however a grown man that was out of hand, but you can't sterotype a whole school because of one jerk, everybody has one or two (us included). I am very proud of our team who exceeded expectations, despite being fairly young, played great all year. Players, coaches, and all are to be commended. JCS has a great team with lots of talent, I wish them the best of luck Friday.

Big boy if you put up half of the numbers Marco put up, they may put your picture in the paper, he also has a great team around him. SH will not even play MP in the regular season and believe me yall had the chance. Sh ain't no Giles Co, You may be shining some balls, but it ain't no football thats for sure.

I'm not sure SH touched Marco in the two series he played against them in the preseason, sure ya'll looked great against the freshmen. Maybe people think Mp is the best team in the county because they have won 35 games and 3 Region titles the last 3 years. I try to pull for all Maury Co. schools when they are playing other schools, but SH just lost my vote. Tell me about SH stellar last 3 or 4 years. Congrats to JCS.Awesome Defense.

Congrats to JCS, the better team won this game, JCS is sound in all phases of the game, especially tackling. Great game plan and good team. I don't have a problem getting beat by a team of that caliber, I do have a problem with the 40 year old man in the bleachers heckling a 16 year old kid, the JCS student section was great, never heard anything negative from them, parents should take a note. I would have to say MP and Hampton could argue they are the best 2 public schools, they were the only 2 left? Good Luck JCS.

Marco was averaging about 15 carries a game for 14+ a carry coming in to 3rd round, we have two other great backs who have combined for over 1,100 yards. As crazy as the stats are the kid usually never played more that 2-3 quarters a game and one game only carried it 3 times for 137 and 3 TD, So the yards didn't come against the creme puffs. We are also proud of our defense who has look good as of late. Please don't take MP as arrogant, as JC we have'nt even been ranked in the top 10 all year except early in the year. We are proud of our team as you should be of yours, I can't wait to come to West TN and see a good football game between 2 good teams. GO TIGERS!

Marco dropped 290 rushing tonight and 3 TDS, also passed for 66 and a TD, and also ran a 2 point con. and passed for another against one of the "weakest" defenses in the state who was giving up about 7 points a game, to lead his team to a berth in the semi's next week. How did your man do tonight?

What a great crowd and props to the JB faithful for bringing such a huge loud crowd, but what about the Jungle crazy's for stepping it up tonight. Best high school game I've ever seen, very physical from start to finish. Morris had a good game, but to me for Chris Tuck to not be a Mr.Football canadate on D is a travesty, if hes played all year anything like he did tonight and I'm sure he has, he should be at the top of the list. Kid is a player. I don't know what to say about the big hogs for the Tigers tonight, they battled all night to open up the offense for Marco, who put up some sick numbers and took a pounding all night and just keep grinding it out. With the exception of the big plays to Morris, the Tiger D lead by David Brown was pretty impressive againest a tough O in JB. Great game Tigers. Great season JB, you were as good as advertised. Marco had nothing to do with this picture it was photo -shopped in and it was on the schools website, it is not like it was posted all over coacht, and Marco is one of the most humble and respectful young man you'll meet, but if by chance you rush for 2500 yds and 38 tds e-mail a picture and I'll have my man paste a big S on your chest. Now to the game, I think it will be a good game,and the atmoshere should be awesome, the field drains pretty well so the field should be in decent shape if the rain will get out of here. MP was up 20-7 at the half, but nothing from last week matters, at this point any round 2 team is capable of beating anybody on any given night.
