What is it with Dobyns Bennett and the playoffs? Before I say this don't label me a Db hater. I went to that game tonight and what I saw was a DB team that I don't think could of beat anybody in the district. What had they won, something like 18 in a row and went undefeated in the conference? How can they win so many games in reg. season and look that bad. The same thing in football and basketball, winningest football and basketball school in the state and I don't know where they rank in baseball but their head coach is the winningest coach in the state. And guess what not a single state championship in any of those sports in the past 40 years. Is it a jinx? do they choke? I can't figure it out! Would I be going out on a limb if I bet all the money in the world that DB will never win a state championship in any of those three sports? It seams like the DB fans start out every year saying "we're goining all the way this year" Please, when will you people ever learn. It ain't never going to happen. I'll give you this though, you can beat the socks off just about anybody as long as it is not a playoff game. Im taking whoever DB playes next. Sorry DB fans.

Well I'll admit I thought Tennessee High would give Maryville a game. But by halftime I was a believer. We are so far behind their program its not even funny. I agree we need to schedule some teams in the Knoxville area. I don't think our coaches had any ideal the level that Maryville plays at. Like someone said before, WE have great athletes, but they need guidence. It was like Maryville new exactly what we were going to do on every single play. And we couldn't even slow down their second string. I think this year is a wake up call to the area coaches. They need to start steping out of the area and playing some "real" football teams. People are getting tired of being embarresed in the playoffs.

Golden Eagle......How long have you been in the band? News Flash !!!! Its the playoffs, It don't matter anymore who is ranked where. That stuff is for the reg. season. And yes there is such a thing as a three quarter game. I actually saw your team play a two quarter game last year at DB. And another thing, you can't bring your swords to the game. Aginst TSSAA rules. But then again, If the same stupid refs are there that were last night, they probably wouldn't notice.

I got an Ideal, Why don't you boys get together and have a big party to celebrate your "loss" to DB.

I guess close counts, in horseshoes, handgernades, and Ooltewah football. Ooltewah came within 7 points of DB and they think thats a win for them.

Just for Region4fan, To start with I read all about Jaquie, and to tell you the truth it brought tears to my eyes. I have not made a smart comment about her or any of the people you mentioned.
