  1. Good luck to the Unionville Viqueens and Vikings this week - - especially to Justin, Zack, Wylder, Janie, Carly, and Jesse!!!!
  2. Vegas, I think Unionville loses more players to just not playing and quiting basketball altogether than going to other programs. There have been a lot of girls that played and was great players in Junior Pro that hated playing in the Junior High or High School Program. In the past, the only girl that I can think of that has left for other programs would be Lamb. (I could be wrong) In one case that I have seen recently, the child wanted to leave. She was told that she couldn't hack it as a big time player by her future Viqueen coach. I think train knows how that feels....this child may never be a small much less a big time player but that is her choice to make! As far as going through the program, her parents coached her in Junior Pro with the exception of one travel season. No disrespect to the Junior high team or High School team, the Junior High team is doing great and I am proud of all of you! By the way Lynchmob - you and those other two coaches that I love - - My mean child will see you in the Spring I hope you are ready for her!! She needs some good coaches! thumb
  3. Just for some of you idiots who like to scream about "recruitment",(muffin) did you realize that Moore from Columbia lived at one time in Bedford County......I guess Columbia is recruiting.....or maybe some kids move for various reasons. As I have said in previous posts, have a laugh now, because it will not last long, and flem, you forgot to add "JEALOUS" to muffins list of characteristics By the way, N. Moore, I wish you well, you did a great job last night in the "grill". thumb
  4. Nothing is better than listening to the wolves howl when a championship team is reloading!! All the teams that are FINALLY getting to beat them are getting what little revenge they can - - - because we all know Shelbyville will be back in the Boro. ntd4lh, I don't know if the rafters at Loretto could hold what hangs in the gym at Shelbyville. Exactly how many college coaches have walked through the doors at Loretto??? I do believe I saw Pat Summit last year in Shelbyville, and that would not be the first!!! Be happy for your player that goes the extra mile to play AAU for Shelbyville and get opportunities that most do not. Jealously will get you nowhere - - - just look at your rafters!!
  5. 85warrior Would you quit your crying, let me know your address and i will send you some cheese to go with that ----WHINE!!!!!!! As for your quotes, make sure you get your facts straight. Newman has been in the system for years, who can fault her mother for wanting for her child what she had for herself. The other 3-point shooter with the team last year would be Canon, and her family is from Shelbyville. Get over it!!!!
  6. Just to put in my two cents..... Moore Co will take it this year, but Forrest will give them a run for thier money!!! I agree with Sidetrain, there seems to be no unity in Unionville. Unionville always has good boys and girls Junior Pro, only to see failure at the next level! Don't understand? But last year, I saw thier Junior Pro boys and girls team play in Moore County and Cornersville, and they were pretty good. Maybe there is hope for the future? As for the hack coaches - - - we wouldn't be what we are without ya!
