  1. They've had 3 interceptions a game for the last 3 games straight,I think. Have 1 DB with 6 this year. I don't think they have any obvious weaknesses anywhere on defense.
  2. Who knows? We might not compete in region 3 next year. O.K. you're right it's too easy. But we will have to have a lot of new guys step up.
  3. No,you're right. We never did win 7-AAA or go to the playoffs in the district format. Had the third best record several times.(Bowl Games ) You're right region 4 is obviously stronger than region3 this year but I think with what we've got going right now we could be a consistent playoff team in 4 too. Granted, probably wouldn't have won it 2 out of the last 3 years.lol

    Sounds about right.
  5. No,we didn't win any district championships in football but we were real close a few years(a few points). Just saying that I don't think we'd be "scared" to be put in region 4. We can play.

    She's still thinking......
  7. Cookeville will not be so dominant when you get into a region that has 8 teams in it like ours . Try being in ours a season. In fact, I would totally enjoy that. 825422279[/snapback] Cookeville was in Oakland's "district" for years. Remember 7-AAA? Held their own then against Riverdale and Oakland. Still could.
  8. Yeah, where is everybody gettin' this information? Is this just rumor,or guesswork? Or is there somewhere we can find this stuff out. I guess Cookeville will be ok wherever they end up(unless they send us back to Chattanooga)
  9. How 'bout them FIGHTIN IRISH!!!
  10. Sounds like you want the entire Gallatin team on there. Are you sure there will be room for anybody else?

Dosen't matter this week anyway. They can use them next year 'cause their season will be over Friday!
  12. I don't think they have any choice in that. They have to meet state and federal class size guidelines. Obviously though, unless hundreds of top notch athletes are moving in each year, the talent is going to continue to get big time diluted in the 'Boro and surrounding area. Funny,it only seems to keep getting better & better @ Riverdale though.
  13. Yeah, if Wilmore had played against Jackson and Cannon he probably would have 300 or so more yards. BUT HE DIDN'T. It may be unfair but that's what will cost him region MVP. Im sure he's not too worried about it though,as long as the OWLS keep winning.

    CHEATERS! CHEATERS! CHEATERS! CHEATERS!
  15. Wilmore didn't have near as good a year this year as last did he? I'll have to go with one of the LA guys. Didn't one of them have like 25 touchdowns?
  16. There is NO WAY Lebanon will put up that many points. I see a game just like the last one, only with COOKEVILLE winning!!
  17. I'd like to see LA win a game like this. They just have to step up and prove that they can. This is it right here. TC is proven. (obviously)
  18. They had their last regular season game against Franklin County at Tech because there was a lot of rain that week and they didn't want to tear the field up before the first round playoff game. (kinda nice to have that option) They played Wilson Central @ CHS. You're right though it wouldn't be in the Cavs best interest to move a playoff game against a real quick team to the turf.
  19. The Tennessean says it's at Lebanon, but I thought Cookeville would have home field. Does anybody know for sure? If it's @ Cookeville it will be on the grass at Cookeville High, not @ Tech.
  20. Actually when I was in school we got along well with the soccer players and the band, although our kicker wasn't a soccer player. He was one of those straight-on,kick with the big flat shoe style kickers. We actually did also get this 6'5" guy that had always been in the band to come play football his junior and senior seasons.
