OS won by 9 in overtime. They didn't look as good as they did at saturdays scrimmages but like goosvol said 1st game jitters, they'll be okay though. This team has a lot of seniors but they also have a lot of depth you just have to use it to keep fresh bodies in.

Why don't you try encouraging your ADULT fans into not harrassing a 16 year old kid(s). I'm not condoning his actions but he is a kid and as far as the comment earlier by another poster that he shouldn't be allowed to play, well that fan should be made to sit in the bleachers. Clarkrange is always tough no matter what time of the year it is or how many girls have graduated. I'm not sure what will happen but I know that the OS girls are not a custom to being on the losing side of things at the high school or in their middle school or AAU seasons. Lets all remember they are a young but experienced team that has been in a lot of tough situations and they'll be just fine if the community stays behind them and they believe in themselves. They have a new head coach and a new assistant and they will get these girls ready. BTW I heard last years only returning starter has decided to play, girl if you read this please know I'm proud of you my dad will be happy, now go lead your team!!! I was told on Friday @ Alcoa that Coach Christopher will be the interim for this season and Coach Roberts will assist. The teaching position is being split by Mr. Woods and Mr. Roberts.
